Build after Build you continue to nerf assault gameplay because a few noobs don't know how to properly skill their characters, and complain that weapons are OP. Everybody knows weapons are only deadly when combined with the associated skills like anything else in this game. |

Everything got nerfed except the mass driver...because the mass driver takes real skill you ar noob...this game is heading in the wrong direction. |

Hate to say it, butwith ar nerfs, and the buffs the mass driver got a while back... The MD pretty much outclasses everything. It has a bit of a learning curve. However, between the damage and knock effect it has,once you get the hang of it... You can own with it. |

Sorry but mass drivers are noob tubes buddy. However they do require more skill than the lol militia shotgun. |

Becareful you will get banned for speaking ill of shotgun (Isn't it obvious ccp is just a bunch of no skill having hacks running around in shotguns to compensate for lack of aiming skills). |

Breach was OP, and overused, so it got nerfed. It was severely overnerfed, so now its crap; lower DPS, and lower damage per mag than basic. Funny thing is, it still costs more. I'm hoping the breach will have less recoil than the basic to make it somehow worth it. |

I've tried out all the breach ARs this build and I gotta say it's a odd weapon now. It's basically like the "middle area" between a TAR(in terms of damage and clip size close to that of a TAR) and your typical full-auto AR in overall performance. I don't really see an incentive to use a breach AR.
I mean it has some decent hip fire spread and it's not bad for mid-range engagements but then it makes me think, why not just use a TAR or full-auto AR or burst AR then? lol Those do the job much better than a breach. I agree with proto here, this gun does need some kind of buff. |

The slow rate of fire in e3 seemed to help hit-detection, so everybody used it. Then it was nerfed and hit-detention was improved. The old breach ar may be balanced now that that the high rate of fire hit detection seems to work right.
It use to have a lower dps(damage per second), but had higher damage per clip. Now the clip is so small it has no advantage. It is also shorter ranged then the other ar types.
I suggest they give it a full size 60round mag, or at least 48 rounds, then see if people use it. If people still don't use it, raise the rate of fire or the damage to make the dps as high as standard ar.
standard ar dps= 375 in clip=1800 dps adjusted for reload time=230.76 with max reload skills=267.46 breach ar dps=270.74 in clip=1458 dps adjusted for reload time=174.4 with max reload skills=199.93
with damage raised to match tac ar and 60 round magazine it becomes standard ar dps= 375 in mag=1800 dps adjusted for reload time=230.76 with max reload skills=267.46 buffed bar dps=280.77 in mag=2520 dps adjusted for reload time=260.2 with max reload skills=293.1
This would give the breach ar the advantage in cases more then one magazine are needed by standard ar, like good player that is fighting multiple enemies or a bad player that needs more then one magazine to kill somebody. In any case where you can take cover to reload or reload before engaging next target the standard would be much better.
The breach is more accurate, but shorter ranged then standard, so it is a wasted advantage |

It's possible that, with the upcoming tweaks to AR recoil, the Breach variant might come into its own as a more stable weapon - low RoF means less impact from recoil, so you'll be able to sustain fire without losing as much accuracy.
One of the problems with Breach ARs in the E3 build was that they outperformed other ARs at long range by having less recoil, and while their potential DPS was lower, unless you were in close (where hit detection left them on even ground with the faster but less reliable ARs anyway) their effective DPS was much higher. |
