Before i put this into the feedback section i want to get a few pointers on if this is a good idea.
If you can remember the first build before E3 build when we had to take the objectives A&B before we could push into the enemy main bass, that's the type of game mode the base model will be. The map will also break up into smaller zones where you will have to take addition points in order to gain total control of that zone. The only way for your team to call down installations in that zone is taking the control of it first. Suggestions please |

It's basically a form of RUSH. I thought they said they took it out because the Defenders had to big an advantage.... so what, it was fun.
Ask the community or use your brain trust CCP and balance it a bit more. That was the best thing about that build (the map), considering my PS3 froze every 3rd game.

i think it did give the advantage to one team but there are ways to fix that, we just need to sit down and think about what would work, it was still more enjoyable than the game types we have now |

Battlefield did it well, I don't see why Dust can't have it. Also, so long as this Rush game mode is part of FW and Corp matches and kept of out instant battle it doesn't have to be fair. Players can balance the award wagered with the handicap being a defender grants. |

I don't know about everyone else, but I've always liked game modes that actually give you a goal. Sure hacking things and shooting everyone is fun, but it gets boring after a while. Having an attacking team and a defending also makes it easier to experiment with different tactics.
For example I can make any tank into a god if I follow it with my logi tank. You will need tonnes of dps to break the active tank on whoever I'm following. The biggest weakness is that this combination is better suited to sitting and defending a point rather than attacking. If we bring back a rush style game mode, tactics like this will become more viable and really test the ingenuity of the community.
Ps. I misspelt ingenuity and it autocorrected it to "indie unity" for anyone that cares :P |

MAG did it (almost) well too. Almost every game mode was an attackers vs defenders and, believe me, was really really cool |

One mode I really enjoyed with the Killzone franchise was the Assassination game mode. It added a sense of panic, especially if you were the target in question. I just don't see how that could be implemented within this game though because in Killzone, it was merely one mode combined with many. |

Would love to see crater lake come back with this game mode.
I found attacking to be fairly easy because you could easily destroy the null cannons and open up the back portion of the map. Defending was mainly op because with enough people, one could just sit in the back with the large turrets and blast away at MCC and get its shield destroyed (making MCC retreat) before the attackers capped A&B.
I also miss the small turrets would like to see them in some of these maps! |

Yes I remember it and it was better than what we have now.
Did you ever play combat missions in MoH always enjoyed that and it would work well in dust captureing one area at a time before moveing on and finally going for the command post, some of those fights were epic that did need team work holding the command post by the skin of your teeth or pushing the attackers back to the previous zone |

That game type G-Slick talks about sounds cool. To deal with defenders have an advantage why not just put artillery into the game? A spot is in the market for it. I think that would be sweet. |

It was a rush game mode and then if the attackers prevailed it was the current skirmish we have now.
They removed it because they thougt it was too one sided (to which side i still do not know). But to be honest i am seeing more redlines this build than i saw with the old skirmish mode pre E3.
All it takes is one competent squad to redline pubs nowadays. |

it could work, same idea as this past Quafe event, maybe we have to kill someone a certain amount of times before we can win. and of course they can treat it as another skirmish stage where we take A&B first and then proceed to the enemy base to kill a certain someone mayb 10 times iuno |
