These new players are coming up with some of the most frustrating suggestions that everyone else has already argued about till its death. For the love of all that is holy never bring up OP and Nerf ever again!
What you want is an upgraded matchmaking system to pit you against players of the same level/tier gear. That way you and your noobular friends can get comfortable then move on. If we were to nerf the whole weapons system, a little fresh punk would be able to kill a pro in a stand still face-off, which would mean that as your skill progresses, the game would become more unfair. |

I bring up the subject , and , I don't want the game to become that easy. I would just like a newbie to have A CHANCE of win , ONE , against a pro . That's not fantascientific.
Define Chance. If by chance you mean that by some extremely random/rare act of luck was on your side of a battle with an advanced player, then yes you do deserve a chance.
If by chance you mean that your mortality probability is less than 85%, then you're asking too much. 85% is also a very liberal rate meaning that of 100 battles with the advanced player, you would kill them 15 times, which is way more often then one militia runner actually does.
Think of how often a newbie kills the pros at other games.....not very often. Also I was only very harsh because the weapons system needs to be left alone. You will come to understand that if they ever mess with it again. Fresh views are appreciated, but they need to be neutral so that everyone's happy. As said before up there on this thread, they paid ISK for the good gear. Starting up can be frustrating, but seek the Training Ground section for tips first, then play the game through with different approaches. |
