I've just tried these out today, and I'm a little confused on the difference between these and regular swarm launchers. It seems it's possible to lock onto 2 things at once; however when you do this, the missiles still go after only one thing, and the time between salvos is the same.
Can anyone explain these to me? |

It actually sends 2 missiles from the swarm to one, and the other 2 to the other target. |

Can anyone explain these to me? It actually sends 2 missiles from the swarm to one, and the other 2 to the other target. Must have been hard to tell since the only time I ever locked onto 2 things at once was accidentally locking onto the RDV along with the vehicle it dropped. |

I never understood how this would be useful, unless CCP adds a way to choose which locked target to fire at- that way you don't have to lock onto the second target. Firing 2 missiles at each is stupid, as you want as much damage on the target your aiming at, at once. |

It should just fire the full amount of missiles at each target and use up twice the ammunition.(only allow one full round of missiles per target) |

That thing is useless in my opinion how it is. When you lock on 2 targets it should fire double the amount off missiles with the result of using up your ammo twice as fast. |

I could understand why I might want to do it with a proto swarm, but other than that, it's definitely stupid. |

I love running my AV gear, especially when the LAVs start getting spammed out but I never saw the point in being able to target 2 things at once.
I remember seeing a thread before about pointless weapons that no1 will ever use - this should be on that list. |
