Shut the kitten up about ps2 and focus on making this game nothing like you;ve played before, use your imagination but stop trying to make it like COD, BF3, PS2, or anything else that is on the main market right now.
Cause it wont be, its going to be its own game and blaze the path towards a revolution, also I watched a review of ps2 horribly built game, looks like someone slapped together some child's play-toys for guns and tanks. |

Let's make CCP redo the entire game to make it into a genre that has not been made yet.
Its a FPS so of course people will compare it to other FPS title that they are familiar with and if someone finds that a mechanic works better in another game and would work well in this game there is nothing wrong with that. |

HAVE PLAYED
INSERT GAME HERE.
Mechanics yes, all for making the game entirely like something they just played because people don't realize were in beta this isn't the final product, no.

There will always be similarities and comparisons.
But I agree, lets forcus on making this game something that, as a whole, has never been seen before.
Now, I'm not a Playstation fanboy but...
I want Microsoft cursing and swearing and crying woefull tears they didn't pick this up. |
