agreed, the rankings are rather F.U.B.A.R. I mean it seems like you just picked out of a hat more or less and went with it. Personally i'd drop SI out of the top 3, maybe top 5, and drop Zion out of the top 5 hands down. If we could correct, i'd go something like
1. IMP
2. PFBz
3. SyN
4. SI
5. WTF
6. Zion
7.
8. Tritan
9. Crimewave
10.
i couldn't even list a worthy 7 or 10 to be honest; as ranking to me means they are x-#'s best corp in the game. If anyone would like to know how i came to this conclusion, i'll lengthen the post. In future for ranking DustMerc, you NEED to give explanations on reasoning (not 1 sentence bits). |

What the hell throw STB in there To be honest though Rebelles of Quebec need some love, they got some good players in there.
lol; maybe; i literally went through all groups we've played in corp battles and seen in game that would warrant a top 10 corp ranking and i really had trouble coming up with legit ones, and not fill-ins |

Let me save you the trouble though. Unless all the better corps fought each other best 2 out of 3 and had the isk to go all out then it doesn't matter. I get it we all like rankings but there just isn't a point to do it without any sort of accuracy or consistancy
like said, will gladly explain my reasoning; but like you said Beers, there isn't a full out answer to this ranking either; but nevertheless, my reasoning...
1. IMP: really need to explain?
2. PFBz :as we said, they gave us overall the best fight of the tourny; as they were all under ROFL then, but the majority of the best players all are now under this banner. Had good ground game, along w/ good vehicle use, and still use it currently
3. SyN : again, probably gave us 2nd best fight. Had good infantry game, along w/ decent vehicle usage. Good teamwork, and were well coordinated, and able to push together
4. SI: runners up; good vehicles (mainly DS), but outside of that they were very lacking (in tourny). Best soldiers were Rankracid w/ his THales, but had limited use being a sniper. as was out in distance; and ringing of Djinn Punisher after we turned him down. Now, they seem to be getting more ground game, but still heavy in vehicle specialization.
5. WTF: we played them in corp battle be4 tourny. Had better gun game then SI, but lacked in vehicles usage which they are rectifying from what we hear. IF they had AV/vehicles for tourny, i'd of put them in the finals against IMP
6. Zion: probably the biggest of all the listed corps. Lack in vehicle (believe), have mediocre gun game outside several names. Work well as a group, and are coordinated
7. EMPTY
8. Tritan: played them before and after tourny. Make good use of heavies, but kind of ends there. Could for see as good contenders later on once more players get in. THat and have the guts to play no matter the odds
9. Crimewave: good teamwork; average gun game for corps (would rank equal to Zion or so); great sniper in Gem Cutter. Unsure of vehicle use, but do believe have a mediocre tanker

Firts, what i ranked isnt the imp opiinion but my own; but like beers said, SI was the 3rd best team we faced in the tourny.
Also this "data" you have is complete bull unless u post it, otherwise its just words. As my data of playing is more accurate tyen yours. Coprs have been playing before and now after the tourny yet you dont seem to make note of that; as people have joined and left corps which also should impact ranking.
So in end, your ranks are 1/2 a$$ed w/o proper intel, data and consideration on how teams actual did per game in the tourny (as only looked at win/loss), and how do in regular battles (pub/corp) |

Maybe you should have asked the corp that knows a bit about skilled players and tatics. Even better you could have ask in a post for corps to send in a lit of corp battles an results. Ever think of that? I mean the winners would always send in a list so in the end you can get a pretty good picture of things. Oh but thats real data and its not that important to you. Opinons of certain people is the way to go it seems. I mean you listed corps that didn't even participate in the tournament? Do you have information of them beating corps since then that the rest of us dont have? What about the rest of the corps? I talk to corp leaders all the time and know who plays who and the results on these matches. Its not my place to give that info out but if you made a list based on real information it would look nothing like the one you put up there. You picked the order then bascially made up reasons to justifiy them. Nothing more.
