Yes, but weapon customization isn't there yet. Also, assault rifles had grenade launchers in one of the early gameplay videos. |

Its not suppose to be a new weapon class, its just suppose to be another assault rifle variant without scope. Are you also complaining that the breach assault rifle looks like the basic one?
You will get entirely new weapons soon. Flaylock pistol, plasma cannon, scrambler rifle.

Tbh yes i am funny how in the future all weapons of the same class look alike, and as for these new weapons whats the betting they all look alike. These are not just weapons in the same class, these are VARIANTS OF THE SAME GUN. Look in real life, notice how all Kalashnikov weapons look the same? Ak-47s, AK-74s, AK-100 series, etc. Its the same things with these guns, they are made by the same manufacturer, and they're just tweaked version of the original thing. It would be ridiculous to expect CCP to make entirely new gun models every time someone requests a new variant with slightly tweaked stats, or just one different feature.
How can you think that the new weapons won't have their own models when CCP already posted those models?
That being said, the scrambler rifle might fit into the "assault rifle" class, and the gauss rifle definitely fits into that weapon class as well (it has a 60 round magazine). They have their own models that look very very different from the assault rifle.
You're allowed to complain, but I'm allowed to disagree with your complaints. If you actually want to change something, its best to request something in a constructive way besides just complaining. |
