I can confirm that FanFest is a pretty epic party and there's going to be a LOT of DUST-related stuff going down this year. Even if you can't make it out to Iceland (which is an awesome place, by the way), you'll probably want to check out the live stream or, at the very least, keep up on news coming out of it. |

Tobad traveling abroad is frowned upon by us customs for underage children that and the money doesnt come easy for a highschool student. Considering everything going on right now. It would be to CCP's interest to allow NON fanfesters be able to participate in fanfest events, and yes even to win prizes. This would be EXCELLENT PR especially if they want to attract more NON Eve players into the ranks and potentially pay for play on Eve online itself .
Set it up to purchase a nominal "E-ticket" to be part of it, make it a reasonable fee to at least make it digestible to those that flew there to participate in the festivities.
There is plenty of time to announce and set this up. Give the work to your Shanghai studio to carry out and I know they will get it done in time. |

From the FAQ:

You can buy as many tickets as you want provided we have any left. Just repeat the process in Account Management. You have to be physically present to pick up all your tickets. After that you can hand them out to friends. |
