They just sit there. Will they actually be flying around at some point or will they just continue to sit there? |

Where you in E3 build? The whole point of skirmish on offense was to disable the missile points long enough for the MCC to get across the map while defense was trying to keep their guns online to shoot down the MCC |

Pre E3 it actually moved across a 2 stage map and docked at the docking station |

They are very slow.
A ambush variant where default is the mcc deploy room would be interesting if the two mcc were circling map |

yea in the pre E3 you could blow up or capture what were basically early warning radar stations to prevent your mcc from getting attacked on approach, once that was done every one would run/drive their asses of to the next portion of the map to try to capture three null cannons, on what was then the communications map, to protect your mmc while it was on final approach and docking. It was some pretty epic ****, kinda like the unreal assault matches but less............contrived and more awesome.
with out a doubt one of the best maps Ive ever seen and I think one of ccps least buggy maps. |

It was pretty epic to see your mcc flying above your head while fighting over those 3 points. I hope that setup wasn't completely scrapped. |

It wasn't scrapped, just moved on to other game modes to test is all. The whole idea behind the mcc for release is they will be controlled by the commander (whichever player is chosen pre match). They will be an asset like any other asset on the market, whether they are player owned or corporation owned is not clear yet but what IS clear is that they will be player controlled, so they will be able to move around. And at some point when the player count increases enough then the whole map (zoomed out level) will be open so Mobile mccs' will be needed for the commander to drop the appropriate installations for the match and cover enough ground. |

I hope, seriously hope that they bring back the Rush style linear map, (Skirmish 1.0).
Even adding more objectives between it would be great, and much more enjoyable in the long run that just circling around a tiny map capturing A and B or something... |
