This is a terrific idea and Bravo Zulu to you for getting it going.
This is a big win-win for CCP, dust players and kids who need care. Lifting the NDA makes sense for a ton of reasons. Doing it now, during the holiday season when people are huddle around thier PS3s for warmth is a perfect idea
CCP, don't delay. Every missed opportunity to keep dust relevant in this expanding market will cost you'd early in the long run. Stay Relevant!
This kind of player driven marketing does not happen on your schedule. It's game companies who are poised, ready and willing to take advantage of this kind of opportunity that stay on the gaining side of the wave.
Development schedules running behind? Other products and projects winning the 'eyes-on' battle over Christmas when your game should be sucking up market share?
Your beta players want to offer you a chance to stay relevant.

The chinese usually require you to hand over any technology you are using or making in their country, DUST is no exception. They have the Unreal engine, let some chinese dev TRY to figure out how to interface with Eve. The NDA protects the IP more then the underlying technology. |

It's one thing to read incorrectly and admit it, but quite another to keep making ridiculously stupid posts that shouldn't exist. If he were trolling, I'd give him a 7/10, but I have a feeling he wasn't. |

During the marathon you should coordinate some crazy battles like nova knives only, an LAV race, or even a laser rifle rave party. I really hope the NDA is lifted next build too. |

Thanks for all the kind words guys, if we work together, when the time comes i bet we can really make an impact for the day the NDA is lifted and raise loads of money for charity.
It really warms my heart to see, aside from the idiot and the inevitable negativity from an imperfect, so many people wanting to get involved.

Yeah I hope they lift the NDA soon too, hopefully next build.
I have some friends who has not seen the awesomeness of Dust yet, and they refuse to try it by a betakey I would provide them with, so hopefully when we get videos and streaming up they can see the glory of it and will start playing.
And keep up the good work people, I can't stream myself, but I like the initiative and the cause.

Not a bad idea. I was in a Nova Knife only match.. was a great match and a lot of fun. Was also in a LAV only match.. that lasted a very long time ( 1.5 hrs).
There's a lot of possibilities that could happen; and it's for a good cause |
