I've noticed that mouse sensitivity is not equal on the vertical axis. Making aiming up and down painfully slow, while aiming side to side takes almost no movement at all. Mouse sensitivity should effect both axis of movement equally. |

Are you using the standard TAC? Its broken and CCP hasn't said much/anything about fixing it. Also, so you know, its the X-axis thats fast. The Y-axis is as it should be. |

for me the Y axis is terribly slow. If i turn off mouse smoothing then yes, only the X axis seems about 10x's too fast even on 0 sensitivity. Honestly my mouse feels less like a mouse and more like a bad attempt to emulate a joystick. |

I hate to be like this, but CCP needs to learn from SOE and be far more interactive and transparent with us. The pace of progression in the development of this game feels like only two people are working on it. I finally started playing again yesterday after about 2 months or so and I really can't notice a difference in quality at all. In fact KBM support feels like its gotten WORSE. |

Got the same issue here; y-axis moves about 10% as fast as the other axis. Really weird and annoying trying to play like this.
Mouse smoothing doesn't seem to affect anything as far as I can tell. Also tried using a different couple of mouses and they were all the same. The sensitivity on a standard dell-mouse (think of the 5-dollar kind) was completely haywire btw - extremely sensitive even with the range set at 0 sensitivity ingame.

Just so everyone knows sensitivity in this game is reversed, it's more like a resistance meter. SO in fact 0 sensitivity is the highest and 100 is the lowest. However i have fiddled with all the settings and mouse smoothing on with 0 sensitivity gives a decent feel for me(im used to play with a controller so this isn't as painfully slow as others might find). If you opt to go with smoothing off than try 100 sensitivity, it will help compensate a little the y-axis is a bit more responsive but the x-axis can be very jumpy.
I've been using a MS 3 button opti, when i get my M60 hopefully i can find a better result. Oh also im using a the move nav stick which gives me better versatility in terms of using vehicles and running on foot. It gives you all the needed function you will need, as long as you have a mouse that can map square, triange, r3 you have everything you need. Just keep a Ds3 around to make use of the tac map and select/start function when you need(which is pretty rare, and almost never in use at the same time you would use the nav stick controls) |
