Ok i'm sure you all know while sony is making a comeback in the gaming division its doing **** in its other divisions. So the question i'm asking is if sony doesnt get a miracle and pull through this situation what will happen to dust 514. Will it be transferred over to the pc or next gen xbox or will ccp decide to shut down the game and focus all its attention back on eve. What do you guys think. |

Actually, sony electronics IS hurting. There TV sales completely destroyed them - their prices are too high, even if they are the best built.
The companies stock is considered 'Junk' right now - assets may become available to others if this trend continues and Sony could see there company torn into pieces.
But even if that comes to be - Sony Playstation will always be the way it is. It's far too profitable - if Sony has too, they'll probably just found outside help to continue it going. Sony gets a lot a love, so don't expect them to fall, but it's possible.

The biggest factor in cost for the newer TVs are the glass factories, they're still paying off the loans on the plasma TV factories and now everyone wants OLEDs or even better ones and there is apparently going to be a new resolution standard soon in the 4k dot range.
Companies that third party or are the third party quickly pay off thier mortgage's real quick though. |

Yeah sorry to tell you this but Sony Corp is down something like 70% in the last two years and it's share price is now closer to what it was in the 1980's. I would not discount Sony yet, not by a long shot, but things are not great. |
