Fitting Requirement tab does not give any hint how much CPU/PG you actually need for that particular item, or I am missing something.
For example, Militia Shotgun requires 35 CPU and with no skills one needs to have 35 CPU free to be able to fit it. Now, when you upgrade Light Weapon Upgrade skill to level 2 you should have reduced CPU need from that Militia Shotgun and you would need only 31 CPU free to be able to fit it. Fitting tab on MS's info screen still says 35 CPU not calculating your skills at all, even when you are in Fitting menu.
IIRC in EVE fitting requirements change automatically on item's info as you progress with your skills. We need something like that in DUST too; otherwise it is a tedious task to always have to check and calculate your skills to see if you are able at all to fit a weapon before you buy it.
Maybe I am wrong and there is a way to see your actual need of CPU/PG that considers your skills. If so, I kindly ask someone to enlighten me on this. |

I'll just bump this thread out of oblivion for a few moments.
Please make fitting requirements change together with your skills!
If not, at least make manual calculating a bit more precise, i.e. 'Dragonfly' suit has 30PG and when one chooses Arbiter it comes with eng. level 2 skill which is 10% PG increase. 'Dragonfly' tho, has only 32 now? Not to mention how calculating 3% reducing requirements skill is unpredictable...
Please, either make it like in EVE or give us some additional side-numbers. |

I'm not in game right now but I believe that, when you are placing (or replacing) an item in a slot on the fitting screen you can press [] and get a view of the change it will make to your suits performance -- including if it would push your power grid or CPU over the limit. Is that what you wanted? |

No that is not what I want. I want to be able to calculate and plan my skills and gear before I buy and try to equip.
I want it to be visible in the market (the CPU/PG actively changes with your skill progression, like in EVE).
Or, at least, that all those 10, 5 and 3% increases/decreases become precisely predictable.
Not much, tbh. |
