The maps seem to lend to one team redlining the other a bit more easily. And with larger red lines allows snipers to be protected even more.
However when the maps are full with evenly matched players it can be more fun cause there is less running around. |

I honestly prefer normal ambush and skirmish. The new ones are a Zerg fest (did I use that right?) and it is much harder to break out of a redline. |

Yeah, I don't know why, with all the redline problems, they decided to shrink the spawn area and options. Pubs can't handle it. |

See under the thread announcements for each map, it clearly says 'new map VARIATIONS', nowhere does it say 'new maps'. |

You do realize the original patch notes said new maps. So CCP is either intentionally playing semantics or we haven't seen them yet. |

They all said 3 new game modes but I guess that means the same two game modes with the same maps with different null/spawn points...go figure? |

Yes. Some epic bloodbaths this morning. Two opposing CRUs right accross from each other. |

My idea of a new game mode is CTF or King of the Hill or "Rush" style, etc. The same maps with different stuff/boundries are just map variations. As you can probably tell from my multiple posts I'm pretty disappointed with this "update". Hopefully will be able to get into one of the Quafe events next week. |
