Right now i think damage mods need some rework. But I do not believe in diminishing returns each time you add a mod.
I would like to see them give less to begin with this is what makes tank battles go so quickly
If you diminish return on damage mods in a way you make people not go for pure damage fits they will just fit 1 or 2 and then fit other things.
People say oh but this creates variety. But in the end I feel a diminishing return effect would hurt the creativity put into tanks.
In the same boat damage mods are insane right now.
Here is what I would like to see
Missiles 8% Damage 5% fire rate
Hybrids 5% damage 5% fire rate
The fire rate and damage can both be moved up and down a percentage or 2 if needed but this would stop the super damage modded tanks out there but allow people to create high damage tanks over other things but they are not gaining a super advantage. just a small edge in the area of damage. |

No.. why so AV can be even more unbalanced, if you die to a blaster tank in a heavy suit its doing its job. Stop trying to ruin vehicles because people work hard and have good fits. Do I get pissed everytime someone with a prototype assault rifle kills me in all protogear? No I keep playing. Also shield tanks are weak once their shields are gone, so if you dont have any armor under your tank hull you fitted your tank wrong.
an HAV is a Heavy Assault Vehicle, its doing its job, furthermore their weak anyways so I dont agree with halving damage as is.
start running a better av fit or avoid their line of sight. |

Considering I run A sagaris with proto turrets Dark shadow I am not about ruining vehicles I am about fixing something that is unbalanced and there for making them more able to balance tanks. the damage mods really are currently not blanced. I have no reason to use any other low slot module on my tank because I can damage out and 2 shot any other tank out there. |

You two clearly do not know much about the current system.
so you are saying with my sagaris and the current system giving me something around 34% extra damage with my rail after mods stack with current system is better then my sagaris gaining 15% extra damage.
I do wonder what is ******* armor tanks more.
Dropping down damage on damage mods actually help armor tanks. Because armor tanks can not use them if they want to tank properly.
Because with my proposed idea you would only be able to gain 15% extra damage on a sagaris if you decided to fully stack damage mods across the bottom.
Instead of the 33-34% you currently gain with how the damage mods stack on each other. |
