As the story goes...
"During World War I, on and around Christmas Day 1914, the sounds of rifles firing and shells exploding faded in a number of places along the Western Front in favor of holiday celebrations in the trenches and gestures of goodwill between enemies...."

The opportunity here is to celebrate the holidays by showing off our new suits, our new guns, our new LAV, HAV, or dropship.
Practice that jump with the LAV you have always wanted to do, take your time to learn to pilot that dropship.
Imagine the gained SP after each team takes turn hacking turrets and other NON-objective instalations back and forth.
I see a good time if indeed we can lay down the urge to shoot one another in the face for just a short period in time.
Good place to test things that cant be tested in a combat environment, wink wink.
Comments are welcome, maybe we could even get CCP to set up something for us including target practice!!

Or have the weapons shoot showballs instead XD |

The Immortal Mercenary Santa "Claws" Cringle, who rides throughout New Eden in his cloned reindeer powered dropship, shooting presents out of a XT-1 missile turret, filled with BPOs of little mercenarie's Christmas wishes as they sleep fitfully!
On Christmas morning, the mercenaries wake up, roll out of their CRU and find their presents under the null cannon and happily play with their friends and corpmates, for a fun filled morning of communal training and live fire war games! |

Actually the song called "Canon" , by Pachelbel. Was inspired by Artillery shells from CANONS back in World War 1. It was written during Christmas. As today it is still a Xmas song... But its percussion went along with the canon fire in that time period.

this could work, the basic idea is just to have a good time without the slaughter for a day. also to check out the vehicles and what not. |

Yes, lets take a break from skull f**king eachother. Lets just put aside our differences and just get to know eachother. That way the next day when we are fighting again we will have a newfound respect for one another. And we just may find a form of peace in war, for the first time ever. |

it would be different...everyone spamming vehicles, demolition derbies, LAV, HAV, Dropship races lol. Heavy drop suit races lol. see a scout run by and trip the heavies as they run. lol
it could be fun...have friendly fire on for everyone or each weapon only does 1 damage. |

maybe we can all race that day and maybe have some folks maybe 3 or 4 from both teams posted around the maps equipped with swarm launchers, forge guns, and mass drivers and have them shoot the LAV's |

This is true. We founded TK friday just so we could kill even more people. I wish those well that want to have a butt hug party in a game the is all about killing and taking peoples stuff. |
