1. You post a thread that comes across as nothing more than a rant.

2. You post a thread that contains inappropriate language just to convey said rant. Case in point: Someone just recently posted a thread using an anti-gay slur just to say "get rid of redline so I can get to tanks".

3. You don't include any detailed suggestions with well thought out logic as to why you want [insert demand here].

4. You disrespect CCP and their staff.

5. Claim that they don't listen when in fact they have (see Feedback and Technical sections of the forums).

6. Your post is NOT constructive nor professional in any way.

All CCP will do is just ignore your post. In some cases even delete it and slap a 404 label on it like this one: [insert 404 page here]

1. You post a thread that is calm, concise, and polite.

2. Thread doesn't contain inappropriate language (at least not the sort that crosses the line).

3. You include detailed suggestions and you have done your homework on the matter to back up said suggestion.

4. You respect the Devs and GM.

5. Your post is constructive.

It's not that hard. CCP is not like Blizzard, Microsoft, Infinity Ward, EA games, SOE, etc. where they cater to the lowest common denominator. They don't bend over for you just because you posted a rant. As long as you help them, they will help you and all of us. If you don't help them and all you do is post demands and rants, then what the frakk are you doing here?

It's laughable if you think they're listening to us in IRC. We feel as ignored as anyone here. You should have been in IRC the other day for the hour+ long rant between several of us about the lack of communication anywhere lately. I mentioned it would be funny to link it all here so everyone could participate, but stopped logging when it surpassed 20 pages in a word doc.

Being dissatisfied doesn't mean act like a moronic jackass.

Weird, I've gotten responses on 9 of 12 of my bug reports, and 3 of 5 of my technical issues. That's a pretty incredible ratio for a company who "doesn't listen".

A lot of you make a post, and then rant about "a lack of dev response" or "because they just don't listen to us" less than an hour later, like a spoiled brat asking "did you make me dessert yet?" every five minute starting at noon - even after getting told you can have your dessert after dinner.

Learn some patience and wait for the next build to see results on the things they've told us they've adressed.

It isn't hard to find dev responses if you actually look for them...

Maybe you should try reading the stickies occasionally?

Devs here are MUCH better at responding and resolving issues than most. And they're also a lot more lenient on their definition of "rude" than some companies I could point fingers at (Ubisoft, for example).

I just thought I would make everyone feel a bit better here! We read the Forum constantly and a lot of information posted here is raised/discussed on our side for the benefit of the game. Because there isn't a DEV post in a thread does not mean it is being ignored :)

Forum rules apply (Like on any other forum) to all members and by ignoring them people only make all the information posted less accessible and readable for us all hence why there is some moderation being done from time to time.

CCP isn't making a game to be played by CCP employees but by you guys so trust me when I say nothing valuable is being ignored :)
