And in the interest of full disclosure, the emotional state induced by reading that post feels similar to the one caused by seeing "+50" rising before mine eyes.
I understand the disclosure of information in this post is measured and timed but also is it appreciated. Any transparency inspires feelings of trust and loyalty across the sea of electrons and anonymity that divides us.
Tell the Marketeer that this approach could lead to a greater capacity in your base for project timeline variance. Give me more carrots ( the more genuine the better the ROI ) and I will tolerate delays and missed deadlines to a statistically greater degree.

1. I read the post before the 404 label was plastered. If you're talking about what happened a few minutes ago, it was basically a non-constructive and very inappropriate rant from a poster who just didn't know patience.
2. What missed deadlines? CCP never posted any deadlines. All the theoretical dates posted were just that. Theoretical. And it wasn't even CCP that made the theoretical date. We, the players, did that for them.
EDIT: DEV has fixed the link.
Nevermind what I said about #1. After the link was fixed I see now that the thread was an announcement from CCP Cmdr Wang. |
