It's not bad enough that you have to fight the red berries and work around useless blue berries, but now you have to deal with active opposition from blue berries. |

Obviously blueberries are everyone not in your four man squad, though you can feel free to TK your squad members as well since as we all know that green berries are just immature blue berries. Go ahead and pick them before they are ripe. |

Go ahead and pick them before they are ripe. Sorry. I am not into TKing blueberries. I may troll the forums to kingdom come but when it comes to gameplay I rather play with the team than against it. BOL with your TKing show. I will be up on the mountains sniping red dots. Try getting your LAVs there.
I'm not into trolling either. I'm just suggesting that those who choose to do do shouldn't be afraid to grief folks who could hurt them back later. Don't just bully easy targets or low level players, hurt your proto wearing mates too. |

The whole TK thing is childish, but given human nature we were bound to have people screwing with others just to cause grief. It's the same driver as random acts of vandalism. These are the same folks who get their jollies tossing rocks through windows.
In this case it's just virtual windows and virtual damage so it means very little, but they are still trying to provoke a reaction. It wouldn't be fun for them if they didn't announce their intent first or folks might just assume they were TKing due to incompetence. It's no fun if nobody notices, hence the thread.
The best way to deal with it is the same way you deal with a kid throwing a tantrum, just ignore them as best you can until they tire of it and stop.

CCP should Nerf this thread.
Apparently they don't care. It must be a "New Eden" thing.

I believe it's more of an act of defiance thing. There are so few ways to actually "break the rules" in this game right now, and TKing is the one thing you can really do to rebel against all of the BS that some of these stupid random blue dots inflict on us on a daily basis. It accomplishes nothing, but it does satisfy an internal need to strike back at injustice by causing more injustice on a straw man. Meaning blame all blue dots for the sins of a few and slaughter them all to make you feel better about how stupid the handful of outright ******** blue dots are and how much that bothers you. No real help, but it does provide some psychological satisfaction.
I suppose it's like the OP being frustrated by a few of his classmates and in response he stands up in the cafeteria, lobs a spoonful of mashed potatoes and yells "Food Fight!" hoping to incite a mini- riot.
He is going to splatter a bunch of folks who never inconvenienced him and who may in fact share his frustration, but it doesn't stop him. Well, it does to a point. Apparently if your virtual suit costs enough virtual currency he will avoid smearing it with virtual food (the avoidance of TKing those in proto suits).
The fault of 90% of battelfield confusion and poor play is more directly attributed to the sorry state of the game's poor communication system. There is no leader and therefore we have mobs masquerading as an army which inevitably generates frustration. Perhaps this could be seen as a cry for CCP's attention |
