On the bright side, I got to drive his tank around and continue to mayhem after he crashed. It's pretty dumb that it only kicked him, though, and it was just back to MQ, we still had him perfectly fine on squad chat with us. |

Tell you what, since you're broke & I'm not (should be the otehr way around with our comparitive stats, shouldn't it?), I'll kick you a couple mill, however much I make today after the event closes.
Keep that HAV rolling, I need good op-for to fight, that's how I get better ;-P
Noc's always been broke this build. I've given him a good 30-50 mil myself to fund his vehicle addiction. He's really got a problem. |

Pshh, I get SP every time he calls in a vehicle because I jump into one of his gunner seats. It's mutually beneficial.

Not true, considering being kicked back to MQ is exactly what happened in this instance. It's only when the whole server crashes and everyone goes back to MQ that everything in the game is essentially undone. This instance, only Noc was kicked back to MQ, the rest of us in the game continued playing, I jumped from gunner seat to driver seat, kept the tank alive, he lost the tank.
He's bringing to light that this is still a problem (and has been every build I think). If you bring out a vehicle and end up outside of the battle, it's gone. It doesn't matter whose team the tank ended up on or whether it survived the match, or even if you make it back into the same game and reclaim control of it, you lose it.
It's a fundamental problem with how asset ownership is handled, and is something that needs to be changed FOR RELEASE. Nobody really cares that they lose beta isk. The problem comes for release isk and release aurum. People are genuinely going to be upset if this still happens after release, because they will potentially lose real world money to a technical failure that is not on their end, because the game is set up in a way to do that. |
