I was already logged in and playing by 2:10. I found that I couldn't maintain a matchmaking request (so the matchmaking system doesn't seem to be handling the strain well). So, I decided to log off and log back in.
Currently, I'm waiting in a queue for the second time due to an internal error, though I must admit that the queue goes by much faster than I expected.
Though five internal errors later, my patience is wearing thin. To me, this shows that the server is not yet ready to handle significant player volume (which is a problem, because I really want my freaking skinweave suits).
What have your experiences been with Server Swarm Saturday? What kind of issues (lag, staying logged in) have you encountered?
Please keep all feedback as constructive and objective as possible.
Thank You. |

Box froze after selecting character.

It's also starting to lag badly. It's cost me items. >.< |

I tried to get on first around an hour after it started. Long queue followed by inability to join matches. Then I fell asleep while a match was loading (I was up until 5am last night) and woke up an hour later to my MQ. I attempted to join a game again to rind it happened immediately and was probably the most stable match I've played all beta. |

I seem to be in the minority based on threads here and on FB. Played for a bit over an hour earlier. No lag logging in or starting runs. I did get into a battle, started the load screen, then came out back Merc Quarters. But that was it.
I hope it turned better for everyone. =\ |

First log in for me went fine. Played a match, went smoothly, and I played well.
I tried checking my skills and got booted back to character select (which I'd been hoping for) and switched to one of my alts. This time, I only got a MOSTLY smooth match, and my team was getting slaughtered, and I did very little to turn things around. Had one rather bad moment where an enemy jumped from a ledge above and got stuck half inside me, my Shotgun and melee attacks did nothing, and his AR shots did nothing, but when he meleed, I died.
Then I quit and played on my other alt for a while. That also went relatively smoothly as well, with a few of the usual issues, and nothing particularly bad.
A few friends have had some major problems though. |

It took me about 20 minutes to log in - I had to wait in queue and was disconnected before loading my character 3 times. After that, I got in and was able to play fine. In-game issues were not too bad, it took quite a while to find a game, and about half of them were laggy. I had a good experience in the event, maybe I was lucky? |

Mostly fine, found a better spread of the skill of players.
Some lag spikes, but still as choppy and lag-ridden as usual, especially at close range. But that's nothing new. |

Now that it's over, I can say that, outside of taking twenty minutes of trying to log-in, things went rather well on my end. Matches were never significantly laggy (again, from my perspective), and I actually had some really fun matches, plus one where I got three different salvage in a single match.
However, still wondering when we are supposed to get the skinweave dropsuits. |

First, I got through one battle, with no problems. After a chain of disconnects following that battle, I got in again.
Then it was all smooth sailing as far as lag goes, until it froze up and that was the end of the event for me. |

I had problems, but they were indistinguishable from the usual stuff. Apart from that it went fine. I even beat my PB for k/d spread thanks to all the fodder. |

Went pretty smooth for me. One time my internet locked up, had to reset my router. Don't know if it was game related (hope not). |

I had issues logging in at first (a lot of internal errors), but once everything settled down, I really enjoyed myself. I'm not used to playing shooters with the PS3 controller, and I know I was more of a detriment than an asset to the teams I was in (sorry guys!), but I'm sure I'll get better with practise.
I thoroughly enjoyed my time playing the game, and I can certainly see myself playing it more. However: I think the fitting screen could be a little more user friendly for PS3 controllers (the analog stick is very sensitive in trying to choose slots beside one another), and I would have liked a tutorial with bots or something before jumping into a match (and promptly blowing myself up with my own grenade thinking it was the zoom button).
I also had a bit of confusion with skills because I created a character, jumped in, started reading the little skill point tutorials and so forth (though I didn't really need to, as I've played EVE), and it appeared to give me 'free' skill points in a skill that allowed you to wear dropsuits (within the tutorial). After a while (but before I played any matches) I decided I didn't like my name, went back to creation and made an identical character with a different name, but it didn't give me the tutorial or those free points on my second character. I'm guessing this was on purpose for a reason, but it was still a little disappointing. |

Had no problems logging on, but did experience some lag from time to time. at first i thought it was because i was horrible (as a FPS player), but it was actually rubberbanding, from time to time. but fear not, it is not the reason why i am terrible at FPS |

I was allready online when it started, and I never experienced any problems, except from my nanite ammunition-thing not supplying me with anything when placing it on a pipe, from where I was sniping. Was killed when I tried to get to a supplie thing. |

logged on about 1:40 est and played throughout the 'swarm'
only issue was the first 20-30min (til about 2:10-2:15 est) kept getting match timeout
after that, surprisingly everything ran pretty smooth. i DID enjoy starting ALL matches in the warbarge (pregame) rather than joining mid-match. Not a single game did we join mid match.
Also did not freeze, lag out, have real bad lag spikes or anything for the duration. I froze around 6:30pm est, after a solid 4 hours of playing.
Now contact lists and such took forEVER to load, but no discernable change in voice or anything. Not sure the #s from saturday but my 'server' experience was more than acceptable during this time |
