Adjusting objective hack and hack cancelling speed based on who controls the most objectives is brilliant. I love this idea.
If your team only has 1 objective, then it should take the enemy substantially longer to capture your last objective; it should also decrease time needed to cancel an enemy hack. Like you said, the time it takes your team to hack an objective should substantially shorter when your team holds few objectives; the time it takes for the enemy to cancel that hack would be longer as well.
You misspelled Skirmish in the title. |

To the OP, you can edit the title and stuff.
To everyone else, why you no comment? Don't you want hack speed to be inversely proportional to the number of objectives controlled by the hacker's team. |

To increase hacking speed, a equip the module and train the skill that allows its use. Skills and modules are the focus of EVE and Dust.
If the opponent knows what they're doing, its not going to stop them from winning, it will only help makes things less one sided. This only has to be for highsec where new and casual players play. |

FOR HIGHSEC, Hack speed should be inversely proportional to the number of objectives controlled by the hacker's team.
This means if your team only has 1 objective, then it should take the enemy substantially longer to capture your last objective; it would also decrease time needed to cancel an enemy hack. It means that the time it takes your team to hack an objective should substantially shorter; the time it takes for the enemy to cancel that hack would be longer as well.
This would make it harder to completely dominate a Skirmish battle, and easier to turn the tides around if you're being dominated. One sided battles are boring for the dominant team, and painful for the losing team; they're not fun, and this would help prevent it.
Anyone else agree or have comments on this subject? |
