This is just a little story I feel a need to share:
Is there a such thing as unfair when you have the opportunity, means, and time to do all the same things you find unfair? For instance, a corpmate and I where put into an empty ambush map and decided to race to kill time. When he called in the Lavs, his was the fully fit one with the overdrive injector and mine was the stock lav with hardly 1k total hit points but being gold (and guristas made) I wasn't complaining. Being the better driver and having a head start I maintained the lead for about for laps until I turned a little too hard and lost control for a couple of seconds. Instead of letting myself get lapped I decided to "cut the map in half" to regain the lead, foolishly thinking I'm only cheating because it was unfair from the start. But considering that I had nearly 200k free skill points I should simply be ok with the fact that I'm. One of the people with the means to adapt and spec into an unforseen senario, unlike the vast majority who have to gring sp for everything.
Take whatever message from this that speaks loudest to you and keep it in mind. |

What did i take from this story?
He will shaft his corpmate over a simple pointless LAV race, what will he do to the corp when the stakes are much much higher? |

I don't see your point I think his point may have been that your corp should worry about the possibility of a more serious betrayal if this unnamed player were to be offered more than his share of the contract to be a turncoat and screw your team over mid-mission |

You do realize that the he you're referring to is me since I was the one driving in the module-less Lav right? |

it's only acceptable when the shortcut involves a superamazing jump that everyone can see while dodging railgun shots from the anti-cheater tank. |

If you can give me one good reason you didn't send him into the wall on turn five, I'll say "cutting the map in half was the right thing to do."
Until then, you sound a bit upset that you lost the race. |

While I was joking... I'll bite.
Hitting a wall really shouldn't even break a freebie. Just throwing that out there.
Also, seems like you're "I can spec into anything" ended up costing you something... even if it was only bragging rights with your friend. |

Then you're OK in my book. If he's spec'd into vehicles he really should work on winning that race next time. = D |
