So... what you're saying is you know we'd beat you and you have no interest in a fight you have a chance at losing? |

Check. You even know us by name.
Quote:Does the corporation leadership set a standard of excellence for their corporation?
*points to black ops LAV* Check.
Quote:Do they prevent their members from destroying the dust community with malicious trolling, forum gibberish, harassment of players out of the game or when on the same team?
Our corp has the most useful threads per capita by a large margin. Check.
Quote:Is the challenge sent in the form of a polite in game mail, and does the challenge refrain from name calling, obscenities, and malicious character attacks? (The challenge must be issued in the context of the game rather then a personal grudge against one person.)
Do we have to say please too? In any case check.
Quote:Is the corporation likely to involve themselves in persistent harassment if they win or lose? ( Much like a duel, when it was won or lost it was considered over and the grudge was satisfied. We will not accept challenges from corporations that start with name calling or player harassment, for if they are the type to start a duel in that matter they will continue those actions whether they win or lose.)
How many threads do you see of us bragging about specific corp fights? Exactly, yet we have corp battles all the time.
Stop dodging and man up. We even meet your ridiculous criteria yet you call us out as exceptions? Can't think of a better example of a need to settle this on the battlefield. |

Tenchu-13 wrote:Not trying to being a $$$ here but if you're looking to create a valid corp reputation then why the hell add the last 2 lines , since they kinda nullifies all the rest of your post.
You start with an actual decent post worth complementing, and then totally F it up...
Yes some people have a quite pronounced character both ingame and on the forums... but if you try to differentiate yourself from those people then why are you totally messing up a quite decent post by adding those last 2 lines!!
No offense but isn't that kinda hypocritical ??
The redacted lines:
"Yes this means we don't communicate or even consider Imperfects part of the "real Dust community, even though they have a lot of skill in game it is over shadowed by their lack of character." |

Don't put up some chicken **** policy of corp battles where you can avoid anyone for any reason and not expect to be shitted on. We see you killing scrubs in matches.
I see, so imperfects only play corp battles then? You know, I could have swore I saw a trio of imps running together in a pub match the other night, all using their best gear and seeking out lone players incapable of defending against such a coordinated attack and caliber of weaponry upgrades. Nah, couldn't have been you guys, as you don't hunt scrubs because that would be too easy, right? Or does playing an occasional corp battle make it acceptable to play in random pub matches? Please clarify further on this rule.
Corps like you are the reason we resort to pubstomping. We literally can't find enough people willing to fight us. |

What a convenient disclaimer.
Ball's in your court. It's not like there are a lot of options. We'll corp battle anyone, but when no one's around, what are we supposed to do? You want to fight? Bring it. Otherwise STFU. |

I don't like the Imperfects, or Zion, but they have earned their way to the top of my short list of who to hire when the game goes live. Hellstorm, on the other hand, will get to stick with low end NPC offered jobs on account of not being willing to back their smack talk.
Actions (and results) speak louder than words, if you can't walk the walk, don't talk the talk.
And if my post pissed anyone off, come find me in game and punish me for it, I might not be good, but at least I'm willing to stand my ground and do my damndest to make my body cash the checks my mouth writes. You don't have to like us, you just have to pay us. We will work for anyone we aren't biased at all. It's a game I dont get if we are mercs why people care about feelings, fairness, forum good guys. I mean how does that help in taking a planet? Our business model is simple. Accept contract. Win district. Get paid. Rinse. Repeat.
Thread should be retitled "Imperfects Corp Battle Policy" |
