TBH and with no intention of trolling or being disrespectful, what do you think a good number of us have been doing ? You make it sound like no usefull feedback/pointers have been given to CCP.
Just a wake up call but i, and some others, been doing that even before the beta started....... So, i dont know where this is going but all i know is that it strikes me as odd.
I find a bit cocky the fact that you're mentionning that there are true believers with good ideas and trolls with ****** ones.
And in the end, i dont see where you want to go with that. You're mentionning dust CSM, joining audio chat, constitution and such... Way to over-react dude. And tbh, once more, there must be like dozens of guy more beneficial to Dust inside a potential CSM before you.
Last thing, you say you're not good on the writing. But Tbqh, when one wants to be taken seriously with those things, LEAST of all is to make a nice and clean thread that gives the impression you actually thought about all this. And with proper english....
See, i'm french and i care to take a few minutes to do something readable....
But overall, the idea of unifying the community and stop trolling is obviously a pleasant one. But tbh, i dont think it's in the power of anyone's hand. For the simple reason that so many people can't possibly agree on everything. |

As for all this CSM stuff I take my hat off to you lot. However having seen IRC myself and those that hang out there well I gave up a long time ago. If CCP want to do it this way thatGÇÖs up to them I'm just going to keep myself and my corp adapting to the dumb moves they make. Good luck.
We do not hate you SI guys. You're just pain in the ass on the BF And we have different views in how to fight and to deal with some stuff. That's all.
Now regarding IRC, you absolutely need to stop thinking we get more ears than you people. I tried to explain this a few times already but i'll go once more.
I'm always on during work-time and it may be 2 weeks since we saw any dev on it. Also, they dont respond to any question anymore. And ask us to report everything back to the forums or [email protected]. The only way i can get some piece of intel sometimes is by tweeting a dev or CM. Which pretty much ends up all the time in a "soon" or "soonGäó" or "Devblog coming" etc...
And i dont see, honestly, what you find so unpleasant about the people there. I consider myself objective and most of them are cool and open to discussion. As a matter of fact, i would love to see more forum folks there. It would probably help a lot to discuss some stuff in depth as it's more dynamic than forums and isnt as much troll filled. yet i understand nobody is bored like me on the workplace and doesnt have the time needed.
But mainly, please dont see IRC as a place where everyday devs come in and say hey folks, what do you want us to do with the game". some forum people tried coming in and got quickly disappointed on that matter ^^.
cheers. |

Guys forget me saying i wanted to be CSM look at what im saying.
The main topic i cover you all overlook to draw focus to somthing so invalid.
We all know i will not be voted in as CSM regardless of my wishes to run for it .
I am more concerned with community issues an the lack of CCP properly communicatiing with us, the splits an issues of Corps harrasing eachother on the forums. The Community issues, the real issues.
IT IS MORE IMPORTANT TO HELP THE COMMUNITY RATHER THEN MY INTENTION TO RUN FOR ANY POSITION
Hum yeah. But most very active corp provide daily feedback on the forums regardless of their "fights" on the forum. Example, things can get electric with some SI fellas but that doesnt stop us from agreeing on various ameliorations to provide to the game.
I think you're messing things up.
And regarding CCP. They communicate with use more than a vast majority of developers. They're way less active these days probably due to the extensive work they must provide for the coming build. Yes it could be better, yes i'd want more but it's not that catastrophic. |
