The current Small Blaster Turrets have pinpoint accuracy on a tiny dotted reticule. Normally, this is a good idea. However, these turrets are attached to vehicles that (theoretically) are always moving and doing so quickly. Most people have trouble keeping pinpoint accuracy on an LAV/Tank/Dropship as it drives/flies by at high speed. Therefore, I recommend the following for the Small Blaster Turret specifically (large is another animal, leave it alone)
Treat the Small Blaster Turret as a HMG instead of an AR. Since the turret already heats up like an HMG, then it should have similar dispersion and range as an HMG. The blaster is anti-infantry and a suppression weapon on most vehicles, which describes an HMG more than an AR. So, give the turret an HMG-like dispersion pattern so at least some damage can be done while driving by. Thank you and other Dusters, please leave your honest thoughts and opinions below. |

I think more dispersion would be a good thing, though don't make it too much like the HMG since I'm sure the HMG-like turrets will be coming along with the laser turrets in the future. |
