Repeat of uncountable threads, but bares repeating ad infinitum.
Close range. exposed as the client seems to calculate bullet trajectory as if the sniper were using hip fire, s I cave to be. At least that is the case for non militia sniper riffles.
I get a bead on another sniper, close range and all, pop a clip (5 rounds) into the enemy, shields flaring wildly, but no damade. He does notice me though, as he turns around, and one shot me with a militia sniper riffle. It happens. A lot.
Fix the bloody bug or give us back our SP so we can respec. It literally looks like the better our skills at the Sniper riffle, and it's proficiency, the worse the hit detection gets. |

im having a similar problem with any weapon its like all my skills are not working
i ve got 4 mill sp in skills and yet cannot kill a malita suit while both of us are stood still i tested this with a friend when we ended up on difrent sides of a skirmish
i was using and ADV suit
davolle assault rifle no sidearm nades nanohive 3x enhanced shield extenders 1 enhanced armor repair 1 enhanced plate
i asked him to spawn a starter fit and we went to remote location range from each other was 15-20 meters we have roughly same sp he has AR operations lvl 2 i have lvl 5 + pro 2
we stood facing each other and shooting the body i died first leaving him with 75% armor? WTF? we said somthings not right there this seams to only have happened in the last week or 2 i cant hit or kill anyone unless i get lucky |

This problem needs to be fixed there have been times that taking out a target is absolutely necessary and I can't do so because of bad hit detection |

Has this problem even been acknowledged? If there is no mention of a fix in the patch notes I'm going to blow my top. I love being dead on aimed at a guy hacking a null cannon (standing still) and firing two shots to the torso that do zero damage. |

Ok, ok...it's in the weekly bug notes from mid-Oct. At least it's a known issue...pray to god it's fixed in the next build. |

I dunno, i know hit detection was an issue but i thought it was fixed...past few days i've began to suck more and more with each passing day lol, now it may just be me but i went from averaging about 7 kills and 3 deaths/ 12 kills 4 deaths and so on, to getting 3 kills and 8 deaths...far be it for me to say but my assault suit has a total of 800sp...since when did militia suits and militia AR's do that much damage as im getting hit markers?
Also had a game the other day where i emptied 60 rounds of a Duvolle into what looked like a dragonfly scout suit...plenty of hit markers but his shields and armor barely depleted yet...he took me out with a regular assault rifle |

they need to fix the hit detection.
it took me 8 rounds into a heavy just to kill him because 6 of the rounds weren't doing anything. i was a foot away from him. |

The hit detection has been god awful from day 1 mordu guys it has NEVER been consistent or accurate. I have tried to help by giving feedback about it, it is not just sniper it is EVERY WEAPON the hit detection just doesn't rego hits at all sometimes and there is no way that I have found to predict when it is going to happen. The only constant is that it appears to happen more often at CLOSE range so it may be the lag prediction/compensation code bugging out. Not to say it doesn't happen at medium to long range while shooting a stationary target...
It seems for all of that the community and devs prefer to push forward with balance issues and discussions are turning from real game busting issues to clan circle jerks and popularity contests. SMH at least this is a known issue. Anyone who has played this game for more than 30 minutes surely would have noticed it.
Goes without saying that this problem is core to the gameplay and it is absolutely critical that it be fixed. |
