wot the difference between a mobile CRU and a Static CRU (yes one's mobile) in terms of what they do, i get no WP for a mobile one i put in my LAV. I just played a match where we were redlined and my side just sat there with snipers and 1 person in a tank and didnt do anything so i decided to get my LAV and go behind enemy lines, basically to put it short i dropped off a couple of people captured c ( this is the 3 point map we started on A side) then captured A so surrounded the enemy at B, which eventually got and nearly won and i didnt get any points for it. Ill still continue to do it but it would be nice for some points like the static one. |

Vehicle-mounted CRUs don't have a limit to how many people they can spawn before disappearing.
Not saying it's a big enough advantage to negate their right to WP earnings, but it's another difference between them and Drop Uplinks. |

its bollocks there has to be at least 1 person in the vehicle to make this actually work otherwise the CRU is not active. So in my opinion the driver/pilot should get WP for spawns in his vehicle after all he is loosing CPU+PG on the loadout off his ride. So yes there should be WP for it. Another thing is there is only the militia version off it and i want standard/advanced/proto mobile CRU's which have lower spawn times similar to the better drop uplinks. |

Agreed, they are different. However you have to be in the vehicle for it to be active, and you have to be in an advantageous location for it to be useful enough for people to spawn on. Given these two necessities, I would be more than happy for LAV drivers and other vehicle operators to get points for each spawn since they are out there braving the swarms and forge guns to give us a good place to spawn in at.
Edit: I always equip a mobile CRU to my starter fit. I call it out when redlined and use a droplink fit. I drive it behind enemy lines, throw down a droplink, then drive around until I see a chance to hack something, enough allies have spawned to start capping again, or I get blown up. |

WP for CRU Spawns used to happen... as far as I'm aware, they are planned to be added back in (or some other WP mechanic) to reward drivers so that (in CCP's general terms) A Dropship Pilot or LAV Driver can make a living flying their dropship to the advantage of their team.
They know Dropship Pilots are getting hard done by, as well as LAV Drivers, and they're working on the issue. |

Glad to see im not the only that feels this and that something is bieng done bout it, not whining or anything id still do it if we never got points but still. It would be so bad if it was the starter fit but my baby costs me 80-90,000isk a fit, my bum nips together everytime i go it alone, although she a tough b**** shes withstood alot of punishment even 2 direct hit from a forge. |
