Make it $1M and we'll accept. Our corp wallet isn't as massive as the tourney winners prizes havent been handed out yet does no one donate to their corp wallets??? i find it kinda shockin tbh that teams are finding it hard to put up 5M corps been out almost 2 months now not hard to donate a mill or 2 every week tbh really puzzling tbh even @ 5M both teams gonna lose ISK if they go all out with best gear.
Well, we weren't interested in battles up until two weeks ago or so. We've just collected to help finance certain players. It's the beta, so mandatory donations weren't necessary. But since we've gotten a little more comfortable with the game, we've been lookinto battles. |

u learn more in defeat than in victory while winning is nice u get to see ur flaws exploited when u lose and pickup on what the enemy did right thus tightening up any weak areas u got makes u stronger.
especially if ur someone like me who records his clan matches and reviews them win or lose u always see new things that u might not originally pickup while in the heat of battle
that being said i agree with u that u dont just openly admit u will lose that will shatter team confidence, go in with the intention of winning giving 100%
if u say "oh we gonna lose anyway" ur members will half ass it and not produce the best because why bother if the result is already decided. |

Everybody knows Imperfects is a good corp, why go in and be full of themselves "YEAH WE'LL PWN YOU!!1111"? Instead I guess, they expect to get their asses handed to them but learn something from it. I never play against zitro, omni, lud, reg and concede any victory I may have. To think like that is self defeating and you will lose before you even play against the opposing team. I'm too competative to do that. I am not the best but it doesnt mean I can't win. He's being realistic.....imperfects acquired heavy guns when GC joined and another corp. Imperfects is an elite corp while most others are casual and have fewer restrictions for recruitment. Noone really expects imperfects to lose a battle, whether the opponent is in denial or otherwise
Kinda what Mav says tho play hard dont be a push over. I mean what is there to lose its just a videogame. |

Gun game only takes a good 50% out of what a real Corp match is like. I could see the value in learning how to cover each other and take objectives. When an imperfect says they are going to roll you like a cheap bun, that is just the boys trolling trying to squeeze some competitive spirit from the "I hope dust has PvE crowd." I am not even AI and id love to throw down in an infantry only match, just for the competition. Anything to make it less of a grind |

We'd be in it to win it, not to roll over and play dead. That would defeat the purpose of taking on the challenge, altogether. At the same time, as a football coach I'll use this context: We scrimmage the older players in our same school system from time to time for fun, and to provide a constructive learning environment. Would my freshmen be able to beat the varsity team? Probably not. Would I put 5 mil down on my team taking it to the varsity? I'd be a dumbass. Would we still push our players and use this as a great scrimmage setting to learn from the best around? Your damned right.
Mr. Enigma, let's be real. You alone probably have more skill points than our 4 most experienced players - In a game where skill points and equipment are fairly important aspects.
Besides, I've messaged RegNum before and I had to hire Barbara Billingsley to translate the reply. |

that's kinda disappointing you say my skill points are to blame for how good I am, all 4 mill of them. I am happy to school you in unreal/quake/halo 1 or another shooter if that would suffice |

I agree 100%. There are plenty of ****** players out there running with duvolle's and assault type B's that they farmed up to by sitting in tanks and drop ships for the first 3 months. They can take a licking yet still have no semblance of game. There are people I see running around and doing very well with militia gear at the same time... but you pit a team of good players in basic gear against a team of similarly talent level players in proto gear, the proto gear will win darn near every time, hands down.
What impresses me is your coordination (along with a handful of other corps in the beta). You guys stick together and play oddsmaker the entire match (making sure the odds are always in your favor). Don't overextend as individuals and put yourself at better situational odds before a shot is even fired.
Edit: And yes, a lot of it has to do with the preparation and time spent buliding the character\fittings. That's a big part of the game. |
