We'll play you guys. Make it a lower amount for us, Omni, since we know we're gonna lose it. No harm in learning from you guys, though. |

We'd be in it to win it, not to roll over and play dead. That would defeat the purpose of taking on the challenge, altogether. At the same time, as a football coach I'll use this context: We scrimmage the older players in our same school system from time to time for fun, and to provide a constructive learning environment. Would my freshmen be able to beat the varsity team? Probably not. Would I put 5 mil down on my team taking it to the varsity? I'd be a dumbass. Would we still push our players and use this as a great scrimmage setting to learn from the best around? Your damned right.
Mr. Enigma, let's be real. You alone probably have more skill points than our 4 most experienced players - In a game where skill points and equipment are fairly important aspects.
Besides, I've messaged RegNum before and I had to hire Barbara Billingsley to translate the reply. |

I am happy to school you in unreal/quake/halo 1 or another shooter if that would suffice
I didn't say that, i brought it up to make a point, Mr. Enigma. |

I agree 100%. There are plenty of ****** players out there running with duvolle's and assault type B's that they farmed up to by sitting in tanks and drop ships for the first 3 months. They can take a licking yet still have no semblance of game. There are people I see running around and doing very well with militia gear at the same time... but you pit a team of good players in basic gear against a team of similarly talent level players in proto gear, the proto gear will win darn near every time, hands down.
What impresses me is your coordination (along with a handful of other corps in the beta). You guys stick together and play oddsmaker the entire match (making sure the odds are always in your favor). Don't overextend as individuals and put yourself at better situational odds before a shot is even fired.
Edit: And yes, a lot of it has to do with the preparation and time spent buliding the character\fittings. That's a big part of the game. |
