Ok so first off id like to thank CCP for allowing me to be a part of this beta. I dont think they ever really see any level of appreciation other then when some little 12 year old finally get the buff or nerf they have been whining for. I dont quite know the difficulties of creating a video game, but i know its not easy. Thank you for providing me something to dump my free time into happily, and keep innovating.
Anyway how's everyone? I dont really care. Alright to my point, so i think all of us have been red lined before correct? Your team isnt working well together and boom you cant seem to break out. So instead of staying in you lose all that isk and SP you wouldve gained. Sad face right? Well ive got an idea that may fix it and i dont know if its in the works or if its been suggested so bare with me.
How about the red lined turrets are indestructible with increased power and decreased range. Then the MCC them selves use that turret located at the bottom to target players too close to the red line. Now im not saying like oh hey now theyve got a new turret to sit back and shoot with. No, the turrets should be activated when all objectives are held by the enemy for lets say, 5 bars of armor or shield? Give the turrets a limited range so they can only effect the immediate area to support a break out.
This way, they arnt exactly game breaking, and people cant just hop in them and do nothing the whole match. Im not asking for too much range, it must be carefully monitored. Too much and players learn nothing, too little and it wont help enough. Just enough to clear choke points. Anyway i apologize for any grammatical errors, and im sorry if i insult you at all with my idea. Might help since pub matches are randomized and blue berries are always terrible.

Not always possible to run past enemies when they are heavies or they all pack AV grenades preventing vehicular assets. When the whole team focuses on one target they die quickly. And organizing blue dots is improbable.
And thank you sir. |

See and i try that as well, but sometimes you dont have enough support. Thats why i suggested this idea. We cant control the actions of blueberries, this will introduce so control back and help (not provide mind you you should still have to do a bit of work) make a breakout. And atleast create a diversion to allow a breakout. |

Again proving this would be a decent solution. If youre not pnned, you wont get picked off. |

??? Well dont know if youve ever played with a bunch of clueless blue berries. But even when you do manage to hack an objective and you get swarmed by enemies. There is no support or guarding your newly hacked objective. Which means theyll disarm the hack or wait for it to complete and retake it for the points. Which, is a mathematical redundancy, the enemy has made more off of you then you even could have had a chance with.

I see i see and if you nor anybody else in pub matches has that? Or they stop you dead? Or they circle jerk around your drop uplink? Variables exist, and 350 doesnt justify the 150 plus the 50 for the hack then the random incalculable numbers of blueberries killed. Vehicles destroyed. But yes sometimes you can break out. This is merely a suggestion for pub matches where youre basically screwed.
Which is why i said after 5 bars of shield or health. Just to make sure it is not a way for players to rack up cheap points. Then it would deactivate after an objective is captured. Not just hacked. |

Sometimes yes, but if youre against a well organized corp like oh say zion? And there is a detachment assigned to each objective then there will be no pull. The only way to defeat a situation like that is.
A. Dispersal of multiples to each objective, and thats assuming skill and gear is equivalent is equal to that of each detachment.
B. Swarm a single objective with units until there is a hack preventing spawning, then everyone must defend and continue swarming.
C. Guerrilla tactics using explosives and picking off HVTs as you slowly advance alone and undetected. Which we know with the spotting system health and heavies, not gonna happen.
The only trustworthy and likely scenario is B. which requires a breakout. |
