I feel that they have waited to long and now other multiplayer games are out and people want to play them. I feel they are taking to long on a game that will change just as much as eve has and were not even into the open beta. they are spending way too much time on worring about over powering weapons and vehicles. work on just making it work together and stop worring about all of these whiners. Oh the missles are to strong the HMG are to strong. they are meant to you dont see people putting an M4 assult rifle were you should have a 50 Cal machine gun.
I think you and others are confused. This isn't a real game, you're a tester improving a product, it isn't ment for you to enjoy so much you run home to tell your momma how awesome it was to blow an HAV. You're ment to inform CCP what's working and what isn't so when they put out there final product we'll get exactly what we want. Other game releases and people playing them means absolutely nothing to them, nor should it ever. No FPS out there on console has a persistent universe that changes by player interactions and not some back door NPC ones.
And just cause I'm in a horrid mood, I'll throw in that CCP is EXTREMELY generous letting most of you even test this. Usually Closed beta's are given out to special community members from other games of the company, or people with experience and background who can properly analyze and break down the game so the programmers can work on what's wrong and important.
Most of the opinions given here are amateur and seen from the same perspective a surf would view a kings life, you don't really understand the mechanics, you only know what works and doesn't. CCP is glad you given your opinions and they do listen, but they're only really listening to people who actually break down what they're saying so CCP can understand and work with it.
Thanks to that generosity, these forums are hectic and filled with trolls. But I for one am glad CCP trys to be a public friendly company, even if it's not appreciated by some around here.
