I feel that they have waited to long and now other multiplayer games are out and people want to play them. I feel they are taking to long on a game that will change just as much as eve has and were not even into the open beta. they are spending way too much time on worring about over powering weapons and vehicles. work on just making it work together and stop worring about all of these whiners. Oh the missles are to strong the HMG are to strong. they are meant to you dont see people putting an M4 assult rifle were you should have a 50 Cal machine gun.
I think you and others are confused. This isn't a real game, you're a tester improving a product, it isn't ment for you to enjoy so much you run home to tell your momma how awesome it was to blow an HAV. You're ment to inform CCP what's working and what isn't so when they put out there final product we'll get exactly what we want. Other game releases and people playing them means absolutely nothing to them, nor should it ever. No FPS out there on console has a persistent universe that changes by player interactions and not some back door NPC ones.
And just cause I'm in a horrid mood, I'll throw in that CCP is EXTREMELY generous letting most of you even test this. Usually Closed beta's are given out to special community members from other games of the company, or people with experience and background who can properly analyze and break down the game so the programmers can work on what's wrong and important. Most of the opinions given here are amateur and seen from the same perspective a surf would view a kings life, you don't really understand the mechanics, you only know what works and doesn't. CCP is glad you given your opinions and they do listen, but they're only really listening to people who actually break down what they're saying so CCP can understand and work with it.
Thanks to that generosity, these forums are hectic and filled with trolls. But I for one am glad CCP trys to be a public friendly company, even if it's not appreciated by some around here. |

Get of your high horse man, CCP is as depended on us as we are in them, so dont give us that bull. Have a nice evening. This is what I'm saying, comments without substance. You say something and expect everyone to fill in the dots for you? How is CCP depending on us as far as dust goes? Are you saying they absolutely need testers to progress? Because, you don't have to be that tester, it could be someone who actually knows what they're doing, not just some bored guy. when the game comes out it'll be popular by it's gameplay and how well casual gamers take to it, not cult fanatics who want the beta to fulfill there dreams.
And sorry if I come off as being on a high horse, awful day for me. This is a nice place to blow off steam ^_^ |

Conraire wrote:SoTa is right when it comes down to it. I know I've contributed. Pointed out exactly how to reproduce some of the Server error bugs with the market and all. Also Offered constructive criticism on proper balancing of weapons, and input on new weapons that would be inline with the EVE universe and good to see in game. Being a beta thats what we're here for. And technically this is still closed beta as they haven't got anywhere near all the release content in.
He is right though, less people have been playing the beta. I'm one of them. Got irritated with the game imbalance, and the lack of forward progress or updates on what they're planning to do to fix the situation. At least with EVE, you get regular DEV blogs describing what they're working on, or planning to implement to fix bugs, or balance issues, or when new content will be coming. I've been enjoying my break though, Beta testing Mechwarrior Online, messing around with some older games off GOG, etc. Wanted in on Mechwarrior so bad. Then I realized I use a mac. Died a little inside. |

This is a nice place to blow off steam ^_^ Thats ok, but what I dont like is that peoples get judged , you dont now what they have in their cargo, I was on all event CCP had on fanfest this year. All the plans they showed us and all the consept drawings from the game. Many of us have diffrent background and different cargo, but I asume we all whant a better game. I dont have more say than others. And planning to go up there and meet the devs and ask them questions. But thats me and I dont judge others when they say something. What I do hope is to be better in writing english , sorry. See you on the battlefield. Long as I can comprehend I don't grammar **** lol
And it's players like you that drive CCP to be there best.
Wow n a z i is censored? but not republicans? :( |

Dosn't need a genious to work it out No longer interested in the beta then why you here? Or no longer interested in people losing interest in the beta? Is it possible to not be interested but still care about the outcome? That may explain things here ;o |
