They're sabotaging the game because they want it to fail.
Please, CCP, they're no good for you guys. Get rid of them and do the game completely in-house. They can't do anything correctly, and they have a history of that spanning franchises. Their satellite companies never fix gameplay issues, including game-breaking issues, but they tell them to continue putting out DLC as a way of taking everyone's mind off the problems at hand, and you know what? It continues to work.
Please guys, EVE is a good legacy. Dust will have a bad reputation from the start if EA and DICE continue to have access to the game to continue sabotaging it.
Do I usually believe in conspiracies? No, but EA is the type of company to do anything to get rid of the competition. |

If I had known I'd see something like this, I would've checked for Black Friday deals on bulk tin foil.
Unfortunately, I am almost positive that they didn't exist. Not with the appropriate quality to produce a hat anyway. |

When did EA get involved in this? Hopefully they never will be because, well, look what's happening to SW:TOR. BioWare was doing great with it until EA got too involved. |

I think it's only a distributing agreement not a publishing agreement which means EA have no involvement with the development of ccp games |

I have yet to see an EA or Dice logo when I log on to play. I'm thinking the OP has drank too much of that purple drank. |

I think at one point, CCP hired some guys who used to work at DICE. That's about as far as the connection goes between the companies. |

So hiring people that have experience in making FPS games is bad? The devs are all former employees of various game companies. They are not currently still being paid by EA/Dice (EA/Dice studios are no where near Shanghai, China) |

Even if EA is involved in distribution, that would be the extent of their authority. CCP has proven time and again that they are in charge of the New Eden universe and they would rather let Goonswarm Federation **** up the galactic economy, which they did numerous times, than to see EA or DICE have any control on Eve or Dust beyond distribution. Besides, CCP has Sony so who needs EA? |

Purple drank is codeine/promethylzene mixed with sprite and candies, such as skittles or jolly ranchers... |

EA Developers arn't at fault for EA policies. You don't think they'd like to wait another 2 years like CCP does to make a game perfect? If CCP is pickin' up the talent EA can't use, hopefully CCP puts em to better use. Otherwise everything CCP does is for CCP and they do it for no other. |

quick question...
why would a company, who by all accounts be a competitor in this market, have anything to do with distro of an online game that uses CCP's servers to play on, and Sony's servers for.... you guessed it distributing the product? O_O |

I would love an answer here as well. I was in the Beta for SW:TOR, EA has been involved with SW:TOR since the beginning. It was always going to fail because it was too directed and only took a few days to complete all the quests and then there was nothing else to do. It was bad game design at its' finest. The bad game design was due to the guys over at LucasArts having too much say. The LucasArts people are the ones that came up with the GREAT idea of the NGE in SWG, look how that turned out for them. If you are going to blame someone for the failure of a game, at least blame the right people. |

Well EA has been trying to Kill Eve for the longest time. They even bought companies to try to do it but now they're working on plan D now to try to kill eve via 'persistent progress' system that API's your character from one game and then copies the skills over to insta veteran.
I foresee character selling. |
