SubZero DeZigns Royal Uhlans Amarr Empire 42	Posted - 2012.11.23 04:15:00 - [1] - Quote I've been getting this ALL DAY YESTERDAY and TODAY. Game doesn't exit out of SQUAD! When the game doesn't exit fully out of the squad, it'll timeout searching for a match. Then, after so many timeouts it'll REFUSE to connect cause I'm already in a SQUAD... I can only play 1 maybe 2 matches. Hold on. Restart the game!!!... <<< REPEAT EVERY(Just about) MATCH. Edit: You can see when you're gonna get this when you see the squad/team icon in the right side bars where the notification is. I'm also unable to chat with anyone on there as well. When loading players names it takes a looooong time to load.

Also when you join a battle, it'll automatically put you in a squad. The reason that you might not be able to talk to anyone might be because of several reasons: 1) You might have not have voice chat enabled in options. 2) You haven't set voice chat on squad. 3) No one in your squad has done numbers 1 or 2. Since this problem happens to you so often, try making a squad before you que up for a battle and then join a random squad. Before the battle ends, leave the squad and make another one. Ift you don't want to do all that, just make a squad and before you enter a battle and it should be OK.

Edit: Do you not realize how long this f-ed up game loads? I've spent more time then I care to reloading this game. This only started to happen just the other day. It's not on my end. I've done deleted and re-installed the game twice and that didn't help. I shouldn't have to make sure that I enter and or exit a squad before hand.

Are you forming your own squads / joining an existing squad BEFORE you go into battle? Or just auto joining squads in battle before hand? If not, can you try creating your own squad before joining the battle and see if it still reproduces the issue?

Face it. DUST's back-end/server/network is beyond fundamentally flawed. Don't try to patch it. Rethink and rebuild! From scratch!

If I am able to get in it'll only be for 1 maybe 2 matches and end up with that error trying to continue to do a match. Edit: To answer that question on Creating a Squad. Dewie Cheecham Villore Sec Ops Gallente Federation 677	Posted - 2012.11.26 16:00:00 - [11] - Quote Yesterday I tried something stupid when I got the error, I unplugged by network cable from the PS3, in order to force a disconnect and reload (faster than stopping the game), and plugged it back in. Instead of being kicked back to the initial login, I entered a battle. Circa half way though though, I got booted from the battle, and WHILE in the Merc quarters, I got the usual log in screen and EULA/NDA/etc screens. After that I selected another match, and actually ended up in the same one I had gotten booted from a minute earlier. After that match, I got the timeout again, and gave up. Addition. @CCP. You have to listen here. The problem is not really in the client alone, it is your network, and/or servers. For some reason the PS3 loses part of the connection to the server. We are still "logged in", as we don't get the disconnect, but for some reason the socket that receives data from the server gets broken, preventing us from receiving the updated values to our actions, such as purchases, or server information when requesting a battle. From the looks of it, we are actually assigned a battle before getting the timeout, but the PS3 client is never told about this, hence the problem of being in a squad, without being in the squad.

After each battle I've begun checking to see if he is still in the squad and he always is until we have an issue, but there is a high probability that he will not follow me into the next battle. After this happens we're usually done for the day because the game thinks he's still in a squad but he no longer appears in mine. He can't leave his squad or join a battle since he's not squad leader at that point. The daily downtime seems to clear up the issue.

Bought a new router and now we have good comms but still have horrible lag issues as well as other issues when we are both on DUST at the same time.

Bought a new router and now we have good comms but still have horrible lag issues as well as other issues when we are both on DUST at the same time. Mafia, try pointing port forwarding to one PS3 and putting the other PS3 on the DMZ. I used to have to do that for me and a friend to play at the same time from our barracks back when we used to play MGS4 multi-player. Hope it fixes what sounds like the same issue to me.

I would still get bumped, but it let me join another match. I was still losing suits, and not gaining anything, but at least i didn't have to restart. The issue seems to have gotten better as well. it's not happening nearly as ofter now (at least not to me).

Also, If you read any of my sht you would have seen what I've done. As for the DMZ: You can forget that. I'm glad you only have your PS3 on your network to do that with. Some of us run multiple Computers, PS3's, Servers, other devices and consoles that run on their network. As for making this report DAILY. I'll do what ever I want. If you don't like it REPORT IT. Who the F made you boss??? I aint the only mofo out there that's pissed about getting this issue. When the sht worked right yesterday A guy on the local chat tried to play the game for the FIRST F-EN time and couldn't cause of this ISSUE. If they want new players and or beta testers and wanna promote the sht to get them, they should fix the sh*t before promoting. Like I said; If you don't like it report it. Other wise STFU!

Get back to quarters and just LOOK for the squad indicator, if it's there, i quit... i figure by the time my hair finishes going grey they'll have this issue fixed.... IMHO, worst gameplay issue among any game i've ever played.... over 3 months wait time, i've gotten 5 battles in, made about 10 kills. ............but the graphics look good =/

All seems to be working as usual on my end. How long this will last is unknown. Time will only tell. Till then, I'm glad I'm able to play while it lasts.

Seems it's back to the bllsht grind of playing will it timeout and do I have to restart it again crap.

When that is is beyond me. [BUG] Invalid label error Status: Tracked. Fixed in the next build update. Now my only concern is this. Does the fix only fix the stupid message box? The one where you can't create Squad cause you're already in a Squad. Or Does it actually fix the f-en problem of not being able to get into a match cause of the stupid Timeout/Squad error. My guess is on the first one. Whoopee....

It also happens if I voluntarily leave a match, but not 100% of the time. I left a match that I joined already redlined and attempted another match. It put me in the same one 3 times in a row, and on the third time I left, I stayed in team and had to turn off the game.

The popup box is fixed roughly 50%, i can now hit 'x' to close the darn box... at least this way i can get a complete picture of my MQ again.... not like this matters because the "squad Leader" issue is still there. i too, can NOT forward my ports (other things have priority). The squad issue (for me) has now gotten WORSE. I cannot join a battle from the get-go, if i buy a new skillbook, i have to re-log to have it actually be recognized as bought so i can use it, and if i use the move controller, the game won't even FIND a battle for me! So all in all on my side of the game i have: 1) no ability to buy AND use skills in same game session. 2) NO ability to use my move controller. 3) NO ability to even ENTER a battle. I have logged in about 3x during the passed 2 weeks, only to get NOWHERE in/on the game. It's getting frustrating not being able to help or play this game at all. does ANYONE know when this problem is actually gonna be legitimately fixed? i only ask, because to date i've wasted more than 3 hours just LOGGING IN to the game to find i can't play it. CCP, i've tested your game... the intro movie looks great (minus the non-matching subtitles). That's all the info i can give ya since i can't get passed MQ

Funniest thread I've read on here. :) This issue happened with me exactly once in the two weeks I've been on here. Quitting and rebooting the game fixed the issue. I do wonder why it happens to the TC constantly though.
