I have a couple questions about the item packs...
If I get the mercanry pack.... even if there are more wipes, or when the beta ends, I do get to keep the stuff in it right?
Two which of my charecters will get the gear.
Three does any one know the stats on the gear? Specifically the SMG and Dropsuit. |

You'll get to keep the items. I bought one back in June, and every wipe the items and AUR come back.
You'll get a menu consisting of each unused items every time you log into a character. You'll be asked to assign them to that character, to which you can either pass or assign stuff. This will only be to the character you log into, and if you don't assign anything, you will continue to be asked each time you log in on any of your characters.
Don't remember specifically on the stats, but it seemed that the dropsuit is the same as the base scout dropsuit, and the smg is the same as a militia (or slightly better) smg. |

All the stuff that comes with the merc pack gets reimbursed each time there's a reset/wipe, items and aurum.
It should be that you manually assign the items to which character you want, it may automatically do it if you purchase the merc pack from inside the game, I'm not sure how it handles that. If you delete the character after assigning the items, they are gone til the next reset when they get reimbursed.
Pretty sure the SMG and dropsuit are militia level (I don't have them myself to check for sure), so same stats as those, but infinite use so you won't be spending any isk using either of them.

I'm sure all of this information is accessible via a quick forum search but anyway...
You're pack resets every wipe and everything is returned to you as if you just bought the pack. Worst case if they only wipe before public launch you'll get all your AUR and gear back at that point...
After you select your character at the main screen you're brought to another screen where you can either give that character any, all or none of the gear you purchased. This screen will come up every time you select your character as long as you still have unallocated gear left to give.
SMG is same stats as basic SMG only free/unlimited and don't require skills to use Dropsuits are basically Type I dropsuits only free/unlimited with unique color schemes. Valor requires Scout suit Level 1 and Dragonfly does not require any Dropsuit skills (both have same stats). |

Only correction is that they are NOT miltia level but Type I level or standard level (for weapons). For the SMG this means same damage and ROF as militia but uses less CPU/PG. |

When there's a wipe, whether that's a still-in-beta wipe or one for the move to Tranquility and the game going live, your Merc pack gear gets returned to you. Also, any AUR (from the merc pack or purchased separately) is refunded.
The AUR is accessible from a single "pool" that any of your characters can access, and the items are un-assigned. When you select a character, if there are unassigned items, the game gives you a popup asking which (if any) items you want to assign to that character.
EDIT: Also, the Toxin SMG has 80 rounds instead of the Militia SMG's 64. And the Dragonfly is notably better than the Militia version. DEFINITELY worth having if you're running as a Scout - and not bad to use if you want a fitting specifically built to deploy Uplinks. |

For stats, they seem to all be the same as standard gear, only without skill requirements. I believe scout dropsuits are also BPO, and for sure the grenades you get from them are impact grenades. |
