You can win by kills alone if you have a coordinated team who actually sticks together, and has every role filled.

You have no idea. You should have seen what they were like in MAG. They would get on the forums and claim to be awesomesauce and then in game I would redline a full squad of 8 STB players by myself for a good 5 minutes until I was literally raiding every corpse I could for something with bullets in it. I ended up dying by being overwhelmed and having no weapon to fight back with other than a knife (which was good in MAG but still not going to win). They were raging so hard over the mic and were bragging so hard when they finally killed me. They ended up quitting out of that game but man did I love that game went 60-4 and felt like an unstoppable demon. My own clanmates were like o.O All I have to say is......I know regnum can be a jerk and trolls people on the forums but at least when he is bragging on his skills he isnt just all talk.

Once there's crafting and cross-game supply chains, I think the -point- is that an over-funded merc corporation with a couple o' dozen tanks to field can steamroll a bunch of infantry. I know in most FPS's, they try to make sure the two teams are balanced, but I don't think that really applies in Dust. That's probably one reason they're picking their way carefully through the balancing.
