Fall damage is excessive, and I agree the height needed for inertia dampeners should be reduced. |

Sarcasm? Are you implying that I'm placing importance to this trivial small thing when there are lots of other more important things that needs to be nerfed/readjusted? I have posted on many threads regarding balance issues with the infantry weapons in this build, especially with the assault rifle, and also with swarms vs dropships, and vehicles in general. Just because there are more important things to readjust does not mean that smaller things have to be ignored.
If not sarcasm then ignore above statement. |

While on a hill, I jumped down a like 2 feet, and lost a large chunk of my shield *sighs*. |

I can't over how ridiculous to lose a huge chunk of HP over a jump of like 3 feet. |

Its worse now it seems. There NO REASON for this. It doesn't add to gameplay, it just annoys people. It doesn't add to realism, we're wearing powerful shielded scifi armor that can take railgun fire, burning plasma, etc; its thousands of years from now. We have dampeners. |

Je-NOVA wrote:When you fall like 5 feet you still take damage. There should be a higher minimum fall length before you take damage, or better yet a safe roll to reduce damage after an average fall length (pressing x right before you hit the ground). https://forums.dust514.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=48998&find=unread |

Agreed, inertia dampener is the best "parachute" system I have ever seen in a shooter. |

Its silly that falling 2 meters does more damage than bullets made of freakin plasma. |

They could remove fall damage completely, and I bet 99% of players wouldn't miss it (though it would make dampeners pointless). A 50% reduction would be fine. |
