@Wakko03 You need to admit, there is not many occasion to test your dropship if match is 16vs16 and enemy team have three guys with FG. Players use opportunity to test there expensive DS on matches 10vs3 or 4vs0 because less risk, and it allow them to make mistake. Come one, tank takes 3 shot from standard forge and you think it's not suspicious that he keep trying to kill you instead of running - guy is first time in his tank. When you are on lossing side you don't get much, it's happened to me quite a lot of times, at the end I always was on minus. But hey, there's always a bright sight I'm sure they remember your nick name now - that is a more valuable thing you can get.
PS I like people who do not give up regardless of the circumstances :) |

He blew up a tank a dropship and 4 lav's and didnt get **** for isk. Running AV is expensive and your going to die your payoff should be dependent on getting that vehicle kill to pay back the suits you lost. Killing vehicles needs to reward way more isk than it currently is. There is HowDidThatTaste threat about this some where. In my opinion those ISK came from nothing. You don't have to kill tank to win a game, no one even paying you for that, but for wining a whole game and that's the point of getting small amount of isk for it - if your team lose. If we would fight in 0.0 space killing tank or DS will be really meaningful, because chain of replacing it is much longer and more difficult than in low-sec or empire. Each tank is build from minerals or from components that are build from minerals, but minerals need to be mine first. Someone need to defend miners wile they are mining ore, ore need to be refine, to build cheaper components from BPO someone need to research it first, at the end of production someone need to transport staff to warbarege and if it takes to long, warbarege is running of it stock and all it have to offer is orbital bombardment.

They spend so much initially, then quit when they're losing, so they gain nothing from the battle.
When I'm getting my ass handed to me, I do the smart thing and switch to starter fits for the rest of the battle so I still get ISK and SP.
No, they get normal reward(ISK, EXP) for what they achieve. |
