I can understand if they are in cover, but i have hit the same guy who was sat out on a road 7 times from pretty close range, and im an ok sniper!??
Can you stack some sort of mega shield that takes no damage except it slightly shimmers to suggest a hit without any damage?
Kinda bugging me now! lol
Any help or views would be appreciated :)

Iv had this too. I'm a crap sniper tbh, but I know when I hit and when I don't. The guy I was shooting took 5 rounds, he then moved about 10 ft and stood still again, hit him and almost killed him, he moved back to original spot, invoulnerability resumed. I don't know whether he KNEW that open spec of road made him invulnerable or if he just ran back there as he thought well I'm getting sniped here but I wasn't over there |

Instead of moaning about it, lets be productive.
This happened to me on MANUS PEAK. I was crouched in a hill south of the point next to the spire on the hill. The guy I was shooting was standing out of cover on the road 50m right of the point next to the mountain(looking at the map on the forums the east most capture point) |

Were you trapped inside a texture? Sometimes terrain that you're halfway inside blocks the shot. Was it just a typo for "on"? Sometimes if you're behind the crest of the hill, your gun barrel is low enough that the game registers the shot hitting the hillside in front of you. My example was also on Manus Peak, and I think the map has a few areas with pretty bad glitchy hit detection when shooting on certain angles across non-level terrain.
Typo sorry, ment on. Stupid Jesus phone |
