So, I have used the repair tool several times on Heavy DS's and by pairing up with them we have made it through the entire match without dying, why is it that my "Contribution" SP's at the end are only 3k? You get points for dropping Nanohives and walking away, but not for following a tank into battle and keeping him alive?
Is it possible that maybe Logi DS's get more recognition for the work they do helping keep the team alive? |

They removed WP awards for remote repping because it was being exploited. It's already been mentioned. But I run logi all the time. |

It just thoroughly disappoints me because that is one of the great things about EvE, you can be just as important to the fleet as the titans because you are good at giving reps and managing logistics. I had hoped that Dust would not be FPS only, but instead make room for guys (such as myself) that suck and shooting but are really good at keeping the team alive. It would seem however that except for xMarauder and the other heavy guys, we go un-noticed, especially by CCP. |

The removal of WP from Repair Tools was a temporary hotfix, NOT the proper solution for the problem.
This topic has been beaten to death a few times already.
The current situation ISN'T what we're meant to see going forward. It was a shortcut to remove a REALLY pathetic exploit people were using to farm WP from crashing their own vehicles and repping them while hiding behind the redline. |
