Ok I know your probably going to nerf missiles pretty bad come the next build but donGÇÖt overnerfs and try buffing other areas so they are practical the reason people only uses missiles is because all the other weapons are useless basically yeah they can get their kills in the right hand and but they not efficient enough for people to consider them. So if your going to nerf missiles donGÇÖt just pound them into uselessness like you do with everything else nerf and buff missiles in their own ways and buff the other turrets, do all this in moderation and you will find everyone is satisfied and tanks can still kill people
First missiles are pretty much the only thing getting killed because they are the only thing that is reliable take that away and might as well not drive a tank. A reload mechanic between every 3 or 4 missiles would be good, not between every 1 or 2 a launcher still needs to be able to get kills maybe not in such rapid succession but they still need to be able to kill infantry, next try making the small turrets fire the same sized missiles as the large turret is and oversight for the small turret to fire bigger missiles than the large. So scale back the small missiles so they match the larger version, scale back direct damage by 10% across all missiles and they are good.
Blaster are not used because they are difficult to use, most people say buff the range and accuracy I donGÇÖt think so blaster are overwhelmingly power and stupidly poor range in eve why not have them like that in dust. Buff blaster damage by 12% but donGÇÖt touch anything else and see how they do yes they will still overheat but they are firing supercharged energy.
rail guns oh this poor weapons itGÇÖs a insult that the smaller forge gun has more power than tank mounted versions. First make the projectile bigger so they is more margin for error this would be a saving grace to rail guns, and buff them the large rail gun by 5% or 10% here is some numbers for you to look at
SR D 325 LR D 1265 5% = 63.25 1328 10% = 1391 FG D 1200
So do this limit donGÇÖt simply beat to death the missiles, buff the other turrets to make them more viable option tanks need to be able to kill people lots of people donGÇÖt expect to survive having a turret turn your direction you should be SoL that those turrets are bigger than you donGÇÖt expect to survive and the same technology that made your suit is the same that made them so good at killing you. |

Leave the large ones well alone however.
If they lower the missile damage for next build, I'd like to see a HP boost or the resistances back for vehicles. I think that would bring some balance back as they certainly wouldn't be the killing machines they are now or ever were loaded with missiles. |

Clearly you have not seen the railgun used at its full potential... |

Well, every weapon is going to be imbalanced vs. infantry as long as they introduce damage based on target Signature Radius (Scan Profile), like they do in EVE. Well, ofc in real life everything is different, but this is nice and elegant solution imho and you can always imagine that missiles warhead in dust made of some plasma or something that does this effect :) Also for Missiles there should be few more parameters to factor (Missile vs. Infantry) - Explosion velocity - Damage based on target Signature (Scan Profile) like stated before
So that means, the heavier dropsuit you use - the more damage you get from large caliber weapons. Also, this will promote usage of Scan Profile (Signature Radius) modules.
I am totally agree with OP statements. After a week of play, I've seen Blaster turret only once, and never seen Railgun. People only using Missiles :( From EVE point of view, you cant kill a frigate using Citadel Torpedoes from Capital ship (Phoenix), you get an idea. Same does for railguns/blasters etc, but they require Tracking, which is done by user in Dust (lower sensivity). |

If they wanted to change missile turrets reduce their direct damage and make them more of a splash weapon and boost the direct damage of the rail guns. Currently a direct hit from a missile does way more damage then a rail gun. |
