 I I'm pretty sure the main point was to have infantry sized sig radiuses but I'm probably mistaken
 (this was mainly meant to be a wake up call to those who say cloaking should be limited to scouts)

 Remember, in EVE, cloaks are only used to set up the attack. Once committed they are weaker than other tech 2 vessels. They also can't use the cloak to escape combat. If they do it smartly, they will be a side-grade to gank and tank. If they do it wrong it will be broken (either useless or overpowered). I do not want to see cloaking be a "X class only" item.

 Assuming the cloaking mechanics will be copied from Eve Online, this means the following will happen:
 
 
 
  cloak limits mobility on infantry or vehicles not suited for cloaking. Example: a cloaking device fitted on a Rifter will have limited speed and no warp capability compared to a stealth bomber like the Nemesis that can warp while cloaked and has no reduced speed.
 regardless of whether the cloak is fitted on a black ops vehicle or on a standard vehicle, they will not be able to attack unless the cloak is disabled.
 cloak gets disabled upon being locked on by a weapon (vehicle needs to be decloaked first to be locked on)
 cloak has a cooldown timer imposed on it once cloak is broken.
 one cloaked vehicle will not affect the cloak of the other cloaked vehicle even when too close to each other. However, a cloaked vehicle can be decloaked by an uncloaked vehicle that is too close.
 
 Of course, we don't really know what mechanics CCP will change for DUST 514. For all we know, the cloak mechanics would be entirely different from what we see in Eve Online.

 Black ops tanks won't be cloak oriented, they will however get portals!
 
 They'll have the ability to use a special portal generator, sending any one of their passengers to any other valid spawnpoint (objective, default spawn, CRU, etc.) almost instantly :)

 BO HAV with my fitting will prob reach upto 3mil at least
 
 Statswise it does have a weaker tank and smaller sig i think it says, its also 4/4 with high n low slots
 
 Cloaking will rock but its gonna have to be done right, none of that uncloaking within 50m of something because it makes it useless in this game, chances are it will have a movement penalty, maybe uncloak if someone hit it and maybe cloak shimmer if like normal AR rounds hit it etc

 Cloaking as we know it gets temporarily disabled within a certain range of just about anything. For ground vehicles, hopefully less than 2500m.
 
 I got a laugh on this one though, definitely the kind of thing I'd do before my first cup of coffee.

 It's not that big a deal really. Once cloak is activated, no other module can activate. And it's a tank, so it won't be very small, as with eve I am sure there will be a proximity to decloak once you are close enough to it. Worst thing it can do is sneak in, somehow avoiding contact, and position itself to stop an objective from being taken over. Once it goes to shoot, it's cover is blown it is seen and if there is AV around and someone to keep in it's proximity to avoid recloak.. one expensive tank is on fire. let them have their cloaks I say
