The current state of the beta is SO far improved from the E3 build that it's barely even worth TRYING to list the changes. The graphics are practically an order of magnitude better, everything is smoother, there's new toys to play with, most of the bugs that were there are gone - a few have been lessened instead of removed - the new bugs, while annoying, aren't nearly as game-breaking as the old ones... it's HUGELY improved. You can't claim they haven't fixed things and actually be telling the truth.

Yep, yep, I know this is beta, but it is a 5ish month old beta that hasn't improved at all since it started. In fact, I think it has actually gotten worse since the start. If you disagree with me, well whatever I guess you are easy to please, BUT if you AGREE with me but you still think this game has a chance to become what it COULD be, then I say good luck to you, and I hope the GMs get off their asses and read some of your ideas instead of ignoring you altogether. I have to completely disagree with the "everything is smoother" comment, because I have played since E3, and that game was fun. Yeah, we didn't have all the gadgets and gismos that we have now, but it was great, everything was much better balanced (but not not "imperfectly balanced" as it should be) and the game was worth playing. You say that everything has improved, I say YOU need to try to remember, not two weeks ago, but more like two months ago. Two months ago (or maybe a little longer, I'm really bad with time) when all we had was the E3 map, and skirmish started with one side defending and the other attacking. Do you remember that? Back when everyone called in militia vehicles and clogged the game with vehicles, but that didn't matter, because AV actually had a fighting chance, and some people actually played as AV(I was one of them, before I was Logi Bro), back when heavy dropsuits could actually fill their role because they had a substantial amount of armor, back when logistics was actually an important role because only dedicated logi's had gadgets to help their team-mates, back when...well you get the point. I'm saying there was less to use, but there was more to play.

How do you know? How could you possibly know? If this were an open beta, then I could understand what you're saying but it isn't. I'm not gonna bullshit you and say I used math or anything like that to predict the future, but look at it this way: From what I've read, Dust is going to be out some time in 2013, idk exactly when, and if a specific date has been announced then I apologize, but that makes it a maximum 13 months (if it is released December of 2013) before this game is out. If we look at how this game has changed (in my opinion, for the worse) over the past 5 or 6 months the beta has been out, that gives them twice as long as they have had so far to make this game spectacular. I just don't see that happening. Like I said, if you agree the game is bad but you still think CCP can still make it better, power to you.
