i am not pleased with the spawning mechanic in ambush mode. The randomness of the spawning removes any efforts for teamwork because squads do not spawn in one area and teams don't even spawn on the same side of the map. the least ccp could have done is provided fixed spawn points similar to MAG, in addition to random spawning. |

Or spawning on squad mates? It definitely needs some fine tuning when the current norm is spawning in front of a group of enemies. Also! What if you spawn in the air? I watched the trailer and thought it was cool when the dropsuits landed on the planet. When I realized you could actually do it in game I was stoked. Why not keep the spawn points the same, just put them in the sky? It would make a lot more sense than just materializing on the ground, plus, it would look F^CKING wicked to see all these players dropping from space. It would look bad ass. |

Oh! And while I'm at it, why not have ambient tracer rounds and flak from AA guns shooting all the time? That would be pretty cool, coupled with the air spawning. That would definitely make it feel more like the epic war it's supposed to be. |

You can't have spawning on teammates. That would negate the drop uplink module. More people need to start carrying (and using) the modules.
My only suggestion is: Include a small, temporary circle of invincibility when you spawn. Currently, even with random spawns, it's not that hard to spawn camp a letter, where enemy can spawn. Even in ambush, sometimes you spawn right in the middle of 3 guys, and are dead before you can even gather your bearings.
Make it, so you get 2-3 sec of invincibility when you spawn. Allow player to rotate only. If the player fires his/her weapon or they move in any direction, the invincibility drops. If they stay in place, but only rotate, the invincibility stays in place (for those 2 seconds)
It's done in other games, and works great at reducing spawn camping. |

I DON'T think they should give players invulnerability on spawn. That would either be exploitable, or provide no real benefit, depending how it was done.
What they COULD do is give us limited control while in freefall, and give us drop spawns when we're not using CRUs or Drop Uplinks. Spawn in mid-air above the battlefield if you're using default spawns, Ambush random spawns, or the objective spawns locations. While you're falling, up until you hit the Inertia Dampener, you have full freedom to turn, and limited directional control. You can "fine-tune" your landing a little, and aim where you want to be facing when you hit the ground. It'll still be possible to ambush someone at spawn, but it will be easier for the person being spawn-camped to see it coming and have a chance to fight back.
Also, in Ambush, Drop Uplinks are AMAZING. You should try them if you haven't already. |

Alright! Let's get some people behind "sky spawning"!! TM I couldn't imagine anything cooler than dropping from the sky into battle. Let's get some support behind this idea so the Dev's might consider it :D |

Kind of like the 'painkiller' deathstreak in Modern Warfare 2.
Here's my thoughts:
- Either give players some degree of invulnerability for only a few seconds after spawning, but maybe limit their own firepower in some way, so as to discourage them from using their extra strength offensively, and only use it to get to cover.
- Or, just refund players for lost equipment if they die almost instantly after spawning - say, if they spawned directly in front of a vehicle and it ran them over a second later (true story) or if they spawned amidst a crowd of enemies.
