Also, I'm hoping to see more of XCOM on the podium. It's rather impressive. |

Using Spike's VGA as an actual reference worth meaning? I'd type my laughter, but there's a character limit on these forums. |

Every time I mention XCOM: Enemy Unknown, no one knows what I'm talking about :(
It's a really fun game for those who like tactical turn-based strategy games or who played and liked the original--it's just too bad that it doesn't seem very popular. |

I'm not entirely sure why would Dust514 appear in the VGAs. It's perfectly fine if it does but they mostly and almost exclusively only show reveals there.
Also, it's pretty funny that you're delusional enough to consider Starhawk for GOTY. |

Do what I've been doing. Educate people who don't know what you're talking about. It generally, whether intended or not, turns into more successful advertising for the game than most of its promotional material. |

It was a great game - i'm really tempted to get Firax's remake, looks like they stayed true to the original.
A great companion game and what I consider to be the best example of a TBS ever written: Brian Reynolds'/Sid Meier's Alien Crossfire. Discussing the philosophy and science behind the little Secret Project cutscenes in Alien Crossfire should be worth a high school credit.

When I started telling people I was naming my in-game soldiers after them and there was permanent death, they got a little more interested . As a side note, the game is a lot more fun when you do that, if you haven't tried yet.

I never got into Alien Crossfire as much, mostly because I played it on DosBox, but after watching a few of the videos, maybe I'll try it again. And, yea, if you're thinking about picking up the remake of XCOM, I definitely recommend it. |

I base all my video game purchases on the words of other people. Especially Corporate meatheads.
Seriously, any televised thing about videogames is downright insulting. Nearly ever host of a show doesn't know jack about video games anyways. |
