Well with DS and SL being looked at by CCP my only other issue is tanks
Well I feel they arnt powerful enough and they dont seam like tanks more like oversized dropsuits. Well they cant take much of a beating my little milita fit put a massive dent in a gunlogi had I been better positioned(and not simply spawned in front of the thing) I might have tore apart a gunlogi shield its only practical defense, then it would be chields play poping that last bit of armor of a panicked tanker. The thing is should a tier 1 milita swarm ever be able to threat a tier 2 vehicle and solo it? Thats my biggest thing lower tier AV can easly match even good tankers in higher tier stuff. Simple buff to HP would do forcing people to work in atleast 2 or 3 man squads if there are at a lower tier.
The next thing is turrets arg the recticle is bigger than the impact radius of my railgun considering the size of the cannon alone the projectile its self should be sizeable but its not its impossible to even defend your self with it, but thats not the issue the real thing with tank turrets is that they cant realy turn to aim well I think that should be buffed somewhat not much just enough so im better able to guide it especially at other targets like a tank that outrun the rotation of my barrel.
but will I do want tanks to be powerful machines of destruction I think just like in the real world they should require a team effort to operate and run effectively, they should be physical extensions of the wealth and cooperation of a corp not one player prefered method of pwning everything. To sum this idea up seperate the main gunner from the turret and if you plan to drive a tank find a buddy or corpmate willing to gun for you. Last make vehicle turrets have limit ammo all vehicles mot just tanks missile should have the least amount of ammo avalible with blaster having the most doing it like this would balance in precieved OP of missiles and such especially considering this missiles are OP cuase any vehicle can spam them and get thier natural benefits. Dont nerf missiles limit the amount. Finally so tanks dont get left dry make a infantry equipment that reaupplys vehicles.
Think about that if a DS only had 16 missiles before it would have to stop and resupply they would be vunerable for a few seconds or a tank count constantly spam missiles at you with out burning though. It would require some form of logistics to keep these vehicles supplied and go a long way to balancing them.
Btw when a tank runs a person or lav or another tank over then the runned over should die or take damage. |

Ive killed someone running them over with a tank.

Im just lucky, I was going full speed when I killed them, aka full speed with a 180 armor addon and a 120 addon, speed enchancement . |

lucky bastard, well driving around my shiny new tank only reinforces my opinion of them buff them but limit them.
btw add structure having armor catch on fire is kinda annoying and makes armor tanking even more UP. |

I agree with that, im in a sagaris and it feels the same as my gunlogi and the way i have fit it only gives me 400-700 more shield HP and tbh its not good enough, sure i could put 2 shield extenders on it but booster wise it would take a long while to get it back up and prob wouldnt have much room for hardners which are iffy at best
Thing is tho a couple of builds ago tanks were strong resistance mods were good and it took an organized AV squad to take it out, now it doesnt and takes 1 guy with a basic AV fit
Tanks have lost ther tank ability
Also no ammo yet because i cant kick out useless blue dots who spam ammo everywhere |
