How close is this version to Tranq client code? Or, how long will it be before the Singularity EVE side is running parallel code to tranquility? I figure this is when you'll know how close the game is to moving to tranquility. |

Singularity and Tranquility are both running on the same code as singularity mirrors that of tranquillity. The difference is that singularity receives updates first before hitting tranquillity in case there are any bugs that crop up. |

Short Answer: TQ ans SiSi are both currently running the same version of EVE
Long Answer: SiSi is usually the test server, updates hit SiSi first to get feedback from the players and to find bugs. However, ever since we moved in, SiSi has been closed to EVE players, and Buckingham and Duality have taken over as the test severs.
SiSi was recently opened up to EVE players again to provide a practice area for the upcoming tournament, and as the tournament itself will be on TQ, SiSi is running the current version of EVE from TQ, to provide a more accurate practice area.
EDIT: Whether or not TQ and SiSi 'sync up' has very little to do with how close we are to hitting TQ, It's when SiSi is far ahead of TQ with regards to Dust integration that we will be getting close(r) |

Yeah, noticed that after updating my regular eve client too. If they're that close to the same builds, it may not be too long before they move us. Maybe next build or the one after. |
