Against SI and their own corperation management. They didnt even showed up to the 2nd match.

We didn't show up because we came 5 min later. We were prepared but CCP did a big TROLL.

CCP started the matches late the first day and early the second. While it was poorly managed by CCP, I'm not sure I understand the WTF decision not to even attempt and wing it.

overall it was a very poorly run tourney
alot of good teams that can surely field 15 were left out not to mention no seeding and brackets were off from the beginning.
thing is i mentioned brackets were off from the get go with teams playing each other again after coming out the same grp BEFORE the tourney even started and this change was still not made.

Not to mention hosting a tourney knowing fully well missile turrets need looking into.
I really hope the next one is alot better planned and thought out than this cuz ive seen teenagers on BF3 host more organised tourneys than this.

First match = 20 min later, we were 25 online, we choose the best 15 and we come in the match, result = 5 freeze and 1 kick... And just 1min20 in the war room. We did the first 5 min with 8 or 9 WTF, no DS and HAV cause of freeze. Everybody angry cause we were prepared since 2 weeks so we planned to kick some ass in the second....

Second match = CCP told that the battle ll begin 20 min later ( approximative ), 10 min before the appro time we decide to look into mercenary battle and SURPRISE !!! SI still in the battle, A B C = RED, DS flying on the spawn etc etc... So we decided to quit !

So thanks CCP for the first match, you see 6 freezes and you let the game begin...
And thanks for the second who have to begin 20 min later as the first but no you choose to begin at time but NO INFO !!

I did ask him if the Bracket change was intentional or a mistake, to which he replied that it had been a mistake and thanked me for catching it.

The only issue ROFL had with the bracket change was that it was unexpected and different from the original bracket. It could have been any corp and Sam would have questioned the change.

The QQ isn't very becoming

It's really unfortunate that the brackets weren't set up as KEQ vs Imperfects and ROFL vs SyN. We would have had some knowledge on the Imperfects, and SyN wouldn't have anything to accuse us of on the forums.

I'll first state that I'm speaking on behalf of myself in this instance, not my corporation, if they want they can reprimand me for it later. Now, let me make something abundantly clear.

It makes absolutely no sense for two teams going 3-0 to knock each other out in the quarter finals, and to let some 2-1 team pass a 3-0 team. Secondly, ROFL has much stronger players, more dedicated specialists, and more solid match leadership from our separate-in-dust KEQ counterpart. You're correct in stating that the original match brackets were wrong, KEQ probably should've been group 3 and another team from group 3 in our group 4. You are however incorrect in implying that somehow the match was thrown -- play 10 corporation matches with ROFL, play 10 corporation matches with KEQ, I'm pretty sure you'll more clearly understand the difference by then, since you obviously don't now.

Nevertheless, it wouldn't change the result that the strongest teams have made it to the finals. I've seen the teams, I know how they play. Quite frankly even STB is better than SyN, and they didn't even get into the tournament. You were happy as could be when you felt so sure two 3-0 teams were going to knock each other out, but oh so sad after they fixed the brackets back.

Roughly half of ROFL wanted to fight Imperfects (myself included) on this previous weekend, I didn't personally want the bracket to revert back, but it wouldn't have made sense for either us or the Imperfects to lose out due to improper tourney seeding.

Lastly, let's be realistic, you didn't have any chance of winning the tournament anyway, considering the fiercest competition stomped you out (likely easily I suspect), so ultimately you can choose to be bitter about it, or you can go root for another team to win.

P.S. I've never been impressed by any of the scrubs in your corp, besides "Example Core" who's probably the best on foot player you have, everyone else isn't really up to par. Now go find something else to do. Adios.

People have been complaing about the BCS for years but that doesn't stop them from handing out a trophy every year. You may not like it but you either live with it or you don't play/watch it.

IMO, it would have been more advantageous from our perspective for ROFL House to have played SyN and KEQ played Imperfects but that's not my decision, it's CCP's and ROFL House just played who they put in front of us in the bracket. All of this conspiracy theory is a joke. Nobody likes losing so to think KEQ rolled over for ROFL House is pretty stupid. If Imperfects/SyN were mulitple clans in the same group then I highly doubt any of their guys would want to roll over for the other. If anything they play you harder to prove a point.

Again I say that you hear this all of the time in sports but most noteably in BCS debates and NCAA Basketball Tourney Seeding. All things that neither you, I, or anyone else on the outside has control over.
