Large missiles tho i expect to have a big AOE and more damage, that given i have shot down a couple of dropshops with LM but its damn hard

Every DS thread is basically a "make swarm launcher always hit and kill the DS". So you people want a free, idiot proof weapon that allows you to kill a army vehicle every time you press R1. Wow. This will require skill, no doubt. IMO every person who says that is a moron and should be beaten with a stick. Militia swarms should never be able to kill maxed out Myron or above solo (free vs 700+k ISK). I use adv swarms, my partner uses basic forge and we get Myron class DSs down, which to me means most of you people are, in fact, mentally ********. In EU it's actually not safe to fly, because 1m later there are at least 3 forges haunting you until you crash and burn. They know how to hide, they know how to shoot your center mass. If you're lucky they will hit your gunners first, but most of the time you're not. Also any non-militia swarm will make you build an uncontrolled acceleration vector, which is mostly random and fatal near structures (= it will toss you into hard places and kill you).
And mandatory CRU on board? Yeah, some people will never leave, you will be flying with full DS whole match, because free WP for assists. Don't know why people do this, but they do. Random gunners will make you crash, by shooting at everything, including your ship. And they will steal your precious vehicle as soon as there is a chance. So yeah, let's make the CRU obligatory for every DS, but let's give the pilot a control to eject any of their passengers at any time. Also "get the kitten out of my drivers seat" button for vehicle caller. :) |
